Parents and Carers can pick up their children tomorrow at 1:15pm. Kindergarten Orientation Our transition days for next year’s Kindergarten students have been going well, with Mrs Hobbis commenting on what a lovely group of children we have coming into the K/1 classroom. Next Tuesday will be the last session for the year, with a Parent/Carer information session at 9:30am. Swimming Tomorrow is the last Swimmming for Sport session at Cobargo Pool. Next week we begin our intensive swimming sessions that will run every weekday for 2 weeks. Please ensure you return permission notes by tomorrow, if your child is selected to participate in this scheme. These sessions concentrate on improving swimming stroke and all students gain a lot out of their time in the pool. Volunteer Morning Tea Our small school is fortunate to have a group of individuals who give up their time, some on a weekly basis to assist in the many programs that make our school what it is. From P&C, YESS tutors, providing transport and running our canteen to mention just a few. We will be holding a Morning Tea on Wednesday 12 th December at 11:30am, to acknowledge and thank all those who are involved at Quaama. Regards Mark Sullivan P&C NEWS At our last P&C meeting for the year, we discussed the future of holding our much-loved Walk-a-thon next year. In previous years, this day has been our major fundraiser for the year, but has not raised enough money on the last couple of occasions. Discussions on risk management and lack of volunteers, also took place at the meeting. A survey will be sent out next week via school stream to all parents, asking your opinions/suggestions for ongoing fundraising events. Please have your say.
