Education Fund Appeal: This Special Collection is being taken up this weekend. It is our annual appeal to help ed-ucate students studying for the Priesthood. This special (pink) envelope is in your box of envelopes. Please pray for Antun and Vincent, our two students who are currently discerning their vocations.
Trócaire: We thank all who have returned their Trocaire boxes thus far and have contributed to this year's Tro-caire Collection. If you missed the Trocaire collection There is a special envelope (purple) in your box of enve-lopes. You are more than welcome to place this special envelope in the Sunday Collection basket. We thank you for your great support to Trocaire. Parish Council: Will meet Wednesday 1st May at 8pm in the meeting room above Quin Sacristy. All members are invited to attend and new members welcome. Clooney-Spancilhill Community Spring Clean day: Saturday April 27th at 11am, meeting at Clooney Church. All ages welcome, bring a high vis vest and help tackle the rubbish on our roads! Cullaun Sailing Club, Co Clare celebrate the opening of their new clubhouse, after 40 years of promoting sailing in East Clare. Young and old alike, in the Clare/ Limerick areas are invited to go out on the water and Try Sailing on the Grand Open Day, on Saturday 27th April 2019, at 2pm. Admission is free. PARKINSON'S ASSOCIATION MEETING: This month's Meeting of the Clare Branch of Parkinson's Association will be held on Friday 26th April at Carrigoran Wellness Centre, Newmarket-on-Fergus from 10.00 to 1.00. All welcome together with family member/carer. Further information call 087 2272782 Annual Mass & anointing for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses in Ennis Cathedral on Wednesday, 15th May from 2 to 3pm with Bishop Fintan Monahan as chief celebrant and homilist, assisted by many Priests for the anointing. All are welcome. Divine Mercy Sunday Devotions 28th April in Ennis Cathedral led by Bishop Fintan Monahan at 2.30 Prayers, Con-fessions, Holy Mass and Eucharistic Benediction. The feast of Divine Mercy is a public feast day formally established by St John Paul 11. The Divine Mercy Devotion is inspired by the experiences and writings of a Polish nun, Sister Faustina. Novena of Divine Mercy starts Good Friday. UGANDA 6 KM FUN RUN AND FAMILY WALK in Barefield on Sunday April 28th at 12 Noon. Registration from Has-setts. € 10 per person, € 20 per family, prizes and spot prizes on the day including prize for first buggy home. Face painting, DJ and Post race Refreshments. A group of 15 volunteers from Clare are volunteering to Uganda this Sum-mer to work on two projects , Hospice Jinja and the purchase of a site and construction of a new pre school for 90 orphan children. All flights and costs are paid by the volunteers. Celebrant Bishop Fintan Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind are looking for Volunteers for our annual Guide Dog Day appeal on Friday, May 10th.
