Ramagundam Mine 1/10 IN-PIT CRUSHING PROJECT RAMAGUNDAM OC II Ramagundam OC II mine is located in coal mining district of Godavari Khani about 225 km north of Hyderabad in South India and is operated by Singareni Colleries Co. LTD.. The main data of the open pit mine are: Material: coal Mineable reserves: 41,23 Mt  Annual target outp ut: 2,0 Mta  Average strippin g ratio: 1 ton of coal to 5,3 9 bm³ of overburde n Only through deployment of modern in-pit crushing and continuous conveying technology, it was possible to realise a successful economical solution in combination with the conven- tional shovel dumper technology, in view of a high overburden to coal ratio. Krupp Fördertechnik was the leader of a consortium of German companies with Indian Partners. The turnkey contract was awarded in May 1992 and contained the complete mine planning, design, supply and installation of mining machinery including two years operation.  All 4 subsystems were progressi vely operationa l by September 1 995. The main data of the open pit mine are:
