Known Issues

Post release 5 Stage 2 SPF Requests via a2a fail owing to an apparent issue

at the Portal end. This has been reported to the Portal Helpdesk for urgent

attention and we await a resolution. We will issue updated scripting and

programs as soon as possible. In the meantime Stage 2 SPF Requests may

be added directly on the Portal Website.

Get Claim scripting which would be used in the event of a bulk transfer

project is incomplete and currently under review. We propose to issue a

patch release including updated Get Claim scripts early in the New Year.

Overview

For all users:

v5.4.0.0 is primarily designed to support mandatory changes to the functionality in Release 5 of the

Portal. In order to continue to use the Portal’s a2a integration capability after go live of Portal Release 5

(currently 29th November 2016) you MUST upgrade to this version of RapidRTA.

The headline item in Release 5, as far as the Portal organisation is concerned, is the provision of facilities

to transfer claims in bulk, either from compensator to compensator or from claimant rep to claimant

rep. In v5.4.0.0 this is reflected in the existing scheduled notification and status update functions along

with an additional screen to record details of any transferred claims. No functionality is provided as

standard to handle the processing bulk closure of cases transferred out or inception of bulk claims

transferred in. See notes below.

Other changes involve new fields added for AskCUEPI reference (on Add Claim), Soft Tissue Injury

question and MedCo reference (on ISP and SPF Requests), CRU Ref and Comment (on ISP and SPF

Responses) and Rejection Reason Code (on Reject Claim to CR).

Enhancements in v5.4.0.0 are concentrated on accommodating these new fields and adapting the

workflow accordingly around adding claims, rejection of claims and submission of ISP and SPF requests.

For any clients already using RapidRTA v5.2.3.0 the update is relatively straightforward, though clients

on earlier versions will need to retrospectively apply changes from any missed upgrades.

PLEASE NOTE This release is compatible with v5.4.0.0 of the Zylpha RapidRTA Broker. This version of the

Broker MUST be installed or upgraded on all relevant client machines.

For users requiring to transfer bulk claims in or out using the new Portal facilities:

Main challenge for any client who may, in future, be required to transfer claims, in or out, is how to

process and close claims transferred out or how to manage case inception of claims transferred in. This

release of RapidRTA will provide notification of transfers and the ability to get data for claims

transferred in. However any supporting workflow such as identification and closure of cases for transfer

out or client and case inception of claims transferred in is OUTSIDE SCOPE of RapidRTA and would need

to be treated as a bespoke development project.

The variables scripts utilise the SolCase/Visualfiles &Declare command to enable a number of site and system-specific parameters to be configured in one place and

referenced in other scripts throughout the application. There are separate variables scripts for the application/add-in (S-MOJ-VARIABLES) and as a system script (SS-MOJ-

VARIABLES), the latter being a variant of the former, associated with the get claims list and get notifications system scripts.
