ercol reCover is a service designed to bring new life to some pieces of ercol furniture.

Using our archives of original design drawings and fabric patterns, ercol’s skilled craftsmen can tailor new cushions from the highest quality materials to bring your furniture back to life. So whether it’s a fresh new look you are after, or just a return to the wonderfully comfortable sit of an ercol chair, this brochure will guide you step by step through the ercol reCover ordering process.

U S I N G T H I S B RO C H U R E

Ercol show wood furniture is made with long lasting high quality wood frames to give many years of pleasure, because we know that our customers like to refresh the look of their furniture we offer on some of our ranges a reCover service, enabling you to buy genuine replacement ercol cushions for your furniture.

This guide will show you which models we can reupholster, it will help you identify the exact model you have and the options available. Unfortunately, due to the vast number of designs made in the past we are unable to make new covers for all ercol ranges.

NEW COVERS AND INTERIORS: By replacing your covers you will completely refresh both your furniture and your room. To get the very best results ercol will supply new interiors with all cover orders and will not supply covers on their own.

Seat interiors on all upholstery models are supplied as standard with high quality foam interiors engineered to give the maximum level of comfort and support. A choice of cushion finish, piped, plain seamed, or top stitched, are available on some ranges; please see details on the relevant pages. Prices include scatter cushions as indicated in the model pictures; additional scatter cushions can be purchased, see below for details.

Please take care and follow the detailed descriptions by each item to ensure that you order the correct parts – several options may exist for a chair depending on when it was manufactured.

All of our fabrics are sourced from high quality fabric mills who are designing and making fabrics to meet the highest test standards for furniture fabrics. Our fabrics are tested and meet industry standards required for General Domestic furniture and meet Furniture and Furnishing (fire) (safety) Regulations Act 1988. Our ercol collection of fabrics are on display in your local ercol stockist and at our showroom and factory in Princes Risborough, you can also view our fabric range on our website ercol.com. Please note ReCover is only available in the ercol collection of fabrics and not the dining collection fabrics or leathers.

SCATTER CUSHIONS Each picture will show how many scatter cushions will be supplied with your furniture. Scatter cushion filings are curled feather, 42cm square and are supplied in any of the ercol collection of fabrics.

Recover prices include scatter cushions where illustrated, the quantity supplied is as shown in the drawing and sprung base covers where applicable. All prices are inclusive of VAT and in £’s Sterling.

All designs have metal frame sprung seat platforms. Please indicate the position of the seat fastening studs on the back legs. On the front of the back leg FRONT, or on the inside of the back leg SIDE. If the seat fastenings studs are on the front of the back leg of your furniture, a kit will be providied with your order to fit the new studs on the side of the back legs. Saville cushion sets includes the platform cover.

As it is not always possible to obtain an exact colour match between dye batches, please ask for a stock cutting if an exact shade is required. All fabrics are subject to availability.

We certify that all fabrics used by ercol have been tested by the supplier and comply with the requirement of the Furniture & Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988. To BS 5852 Part 1 Source 0 & 1.
