AIRWORTHINESS NOTICE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER: 200409-1
ZENITH, ZENAIR CH601-XL AIRCRAFT CABLE TENSIONS
To: All owners and operators of Zenith, Zenair CH601-XL Aircraft.
Background: The Zenair factory has released a service bulletin and photo guiderequiring all cable tensions to be checked and adjusted as required to counteractpossible control flutter.
Discussion: Nil
Action Required: BEFORE NEXT FLIGHT: If not already carried out, check and calibrate all controlcables in accordance with Zenair Europe ZE-2008-01 Appendix 1, and the picture guideAppendix 2.
Continuing action: As per Zenair Europe Service Bulletin ZE-2008-01 - every 50 hoursof operation
Recommended Further Action: This is a continuing airworthiness notice.
Reports and Recording: The initial inspection is to be recorded in the aircraft log bookCiting AN and any deficits found are to be reported to the RA-Aus office
