Three girlfriends who surf together since childhood will take a van from Brazil all the way to California (USA), covering more than 11,300 km by the Pacific coast of America.

surf, family, art, culture,

environment, adventure and joy.

With a camper van adapted for art workshops, environmental education and surfing classes, Antonia, Clarissa, baby Lela - Clarissa´s 2 year old daughter- and Christie will depart from Porto Alegre, southern Brazil, to California (USA) for a cultural trip, following the same route taken by Antonia´s father with three other surfer friends in the 70´s.

Road Trip – 1976 Cultural revolution- Pioneering

Neco, Tupi, Tonho and João went from southern Brazil to California. Taking with them many boards and a true dream of discovering Latin America, its culture and its countless perfect waves. Their sons, daughters and friends grew up listening to the adventures of their trip. The life experience of these four friends is now inspiration for the Rekombinado project.

The adventuress girls will hit the road again. Besides surfing, their purpose is to make a positive change in every place they go. The van will turn into an art studio, fully equipped with surf-boards, sustainable and technological gadgets. In the coastal communities of the Pacific Ocean they will promote surf lessons, art workshops and environmental education activities.

Antonia Wallig is an art and surf teacher. Master degree in visual arts, coordinates social projects and gives surfing and art lessons for children. The sea is her home. She like smiles, photography and climbing trees to see the horizon.

Clarissa del Fabbro is an eco designer, her work is to think sustainable solutions for a better world. She works so that humans can live in greater harmony with nature. Likes to do gardens, drawing and taking waterfall baths.

Christie Meditsch is a graphic artist and designer. Master degree in surface design she sees things through their colors and lines. Everywhere she goes all rejoice and turn into movement. She likes children, animals, dancing and having her own extraordinary ideas.
