ROLE PURPOSE: The Senior Awards Compliance Officer in his/her capacity supports the Awards Manager in the areas of awards management, and donor compliance of the Country Office. The position ensures quality services to clients in line with SCI Policies and Procedures. SCOPE OF ROLE: Reports to: Manager-Awards Management Dimensions: Staff directly reporting to this post: None KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Award Cycle Management Supporting Program Point Person/budget holders in understanding Award Agreement, Budget and key deliverables Preparation of the agreement Synopsys and compliance. Preparation of Cost-ed Work plan ( Seazanalization) of assigned portfolio Procurement Plan for assigned portfolio BVA Analysis/comments for the assigned portfolio Monthly meeting with the Program Point Person on BVA, variance analysis, propose corrective Journal (if any) and report back to key stakeholders on the meeting highlights / outcomes. Discussion on the next month’s work plan. Critical analysis of the portfolio and suggestion on the Burn Rate, No Cost Extension (NCE), Cost Extension (CE) and Budget Realignment. Ensure timely preparation and review of donor report with GFP and submission to Deputy Director for the further submission to donor contact. Reporting Awards receivables / liabilities. Maintain Electronic and paper files for each Award which include: Approved budgets, narrative proposal, Agreement, Amendments, Reports (financial and narrative), Relevant communications, Notes from monitoring meetings and Close out notes/forms Facilitate Award audits/Internal Audit Awards Closeout meetings with lesson learned AMS Data input/maintain Award Management Systems (AMS) DATE

Data input/maintain Award Management Systems (AMS)

Responsible for record keeping and update of all Award related documentationStaff Management and Development- Assist in the training, coaching and development of financial skills in non-accounting staff, particularly budget holders.- Provides technical support in the area of finance to staff as needed.Ready to work to respond to any natural disaster or emergency situation anywhere in Bangladesh.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:EssentiaL : Working Experience: At least 4 years experience within the finance department of a national or international organization including experience with financial management in emergenciesSkills:

Excellent analytical skills the ability to analyse complex financial data and design and produce effective management information.

Strong budgeting and budget management skill Proficiency in computerised accounts packages, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload and to work to tight deadlines.

Ability to contribute to a small, proactive team, motivating staff and working collaboratively with colleagues and providing support and advice as necessary.

DesirablE :
