Children’s Ministry
This year we will host our 1st annual car show benefiting
our children's ministry at Calvary Hill. Come join us for
the car show, 50s-60s themed talent show, inflatables for
kids and enjoy our hot dog sale! Hope to see you there!

VBS was a huge success! Very few churches have the “adult” support that we did. Our student/teacher (helpers) ratio was about 1 to 1. THANK YOU to a church who loves teens and children; thank you to all who taught and helped; thank you to our teens who help lead each age group; thank you to the “food crew” who did a bang up job feeding each night; thank you to Jamie & Christy for all their hard work, and thank you to ANYONE who decorated, cleaned, or helped in ANY capacity. Several other churches were represented in our school, and as I talked with parents they each praised our workers and the good job everyone has done. Now waiting on next year!
August 14th will be one of those Sunday’s to remember. We will be baptizing that morning, have guest doing a live drama presentation, special music, and ordain-ing deacons that night. Mark your calen-dar and make plans to be present that day if possible – it is going to be a God-filled day!

1st Annual Car Show Saturday, August 27 Noon to 3 PM
BLAST Backpack Ministry Partnership with UCM This summer our children’s ministry will be partnering with United Christian Ministries to collect school supplies for kids in our church as well as kids in our community. At VBS last year our children raised over $1,000 and we were able to purchase 30 backpacks filled with sup-plies. Again this year, our VBS offering will go to this program.
Here is how you can help: During the month of July we will have ten labeled donation boxes in the hallway, near the table, across from the choir room. Please pray and ask God how you and your family or your Sunday school class could help us collect these supplies. Below is a list of the supplies that we will be collecting this year:
