We need BROWN BAGS, shampoo, instant potatoes, baked beans, rice and Knorr sides. Thanks for the diapers. The recipients were very grateful.
God bless you for thinking of the pantry when you do your shopping!
St. Charles/ St. Ann’s Young Adult Ministry
Events Include
Lectio Divina Every Monday night at 6:30pm St. Ann’s Ministry Center
Lectio Divina is a way of praying and meditating with the scriptures.
We are using the Gospel of Mark. This is a great time to spend with
other Young Adults to read scripture and to reflect on the presence of
God in our lives. The format has led to great discussions.
Theology on Tap Every 3rd Thursday of the month Dinosaur BBQ at
7:00pm
We all join at Dinosaur BBQ in the upstairs room for dinner provided
by the Diocese and listen to a catholic speaker talk about various
topics relating to the faith. Parking is also free across the street in
the parking lot. Just let them know that you are with the diocese so
they can pick up your tab.
Walk N Rosary & Ultimate Frisbee every Friday* during the sum-
mer 6:30pm at Onondaga Lake Park
We meet at Onondaga Parkway near the flag pole next to Wegmans
playground. We gather in a circle for the first part of the rosary shar-
ing intentions. Then we walk along the water and pray the rosary
(leader follower style). After the rosary we walk back to the picnic
area where we have a BBQ with Hoffman hot dogs, drinks and chips
and play Ultimate Frisbee until the sun sets. Come join us to play and
pray. *Every first Friday we go to First Friday Mass
First Friday Mass 1st Friday of Every Month at the Francian Place
6:00pm
Join Catholic young adults in Syracuse for confession, Mass, and fel-
lowship at a local eatery on the First Friday of each month.
Confessions are heard from 6 to 6:30 pm, followed by Mass.
This ministry is for the young adults of the parish that are ages 18-30.
We meet every week for prayer and fellowship and do occasional
service projects.
