Prayer is a powerful tool. Prayer changes lives. Prayer changes

people. Prayer changes us. Jesus talks about the importance of

PRAYER JAR - You will notice a large jar sitting on the Hospitality Table as you

come to worship at New Hope. Many folks have said they don’t feel comfortable

speaking out loud or sharing their prayer concerns during announcement time. So

now you can place your prayer concerns in our prayer jar and we will pray over

the jar every Sunday. So bring your prayer concerns, or you can write them on the

paper provided and place them in our prayer jar.

The Happy Hookers will be meeting every Monday night

at the Molzahn’s 323 Foxleigh Drive, Hanover. From 7 to

9.

#1 you don’t need anything, - just you. We have yarn,

needles, crochet hooks, lots of gifted knitters and

crocheters and two hours of making beautiful shawls,

squares and sharing, Oops, did I mention laughter?

#2 if you know of someone who is need of a prayer shawl,

please let Pastor Kielley or one of the “Hookers” know

#3 If you just happen to stumble upon a Ward Sale or

Auction and find yarn, needles, holders, crochet hooks —

but it and we will reimburse you. Many folks have given

us yarn, - we can use it all.

#4 Most of all, you, as New Hope Faith Community have

reached out to many people who are comforted

In their grief, anxiety and pain thru the prayer shawls we

offer on your behalf. A simple message, each shawl

represents God’s love and assurance that even in adversity

you are Child of God.

Looking for help! Are you a

firm believer in the power of

prayer? Do you believe that as

a congregation we need to have

a powerful prayer ministry?

Would you like to help grow

this ministry at New Hope? If

you would be interested in

being our Prayer Coordinator

please see Pastor Time for

details.

New Hope has been blessed to receive a very special gift. We

have been given a beautiful new 3 Octave Hand Chime set. They

will be dedicated during our worship service this Sunday. The

Hand Chimes are the gift of Candy Rule and are given to New

Hope in loving memory of her mother Millie Child. Thank you

Candy for sharing this beautiful gift of music with New Hope.

big mission that needs our support, both in prayer and financially. Please give generously so

that God’s Word may continue to be taken “unto all the world.”

Would you be willing to host a Bible Study in your

home? Pastor Tim is looking for a few homes to host a

small bible study. He will be the leader but just needs a

place for folks to gather. If you might be interested

please let him know. Schedules and times are wide

open at this point.

It’s time to jump, jump, jump those jiggles out, clap, clap, clap those crazies out and

sing, sing, sing our praises out on Wacky Wednesday. For those who may be confused

the Totally Terrific Thursday singers sang this song every week last year as one of their

opening songs. What will be different this year is that their praises will not be sung out

on Totally Terrific Thursdays but will be singing out once again on Wacky Wednesdays.

The time remains the same from 4:00-5:30 p.m. The place remains the same at Pastor

Kielley and Liz’s house at 58 Maple Avenue, Littlestown and the agenda remains the

same with bible study time, crafts, singing and snacks. Children ages 4 through

whatever are encouraged to sign up on the sheet found on the Hospitality Table. Choir

will begin on WEDNESDAY, SPETEMBER 19th. Kids, ask those who attended last

year and they will tell you we had a totally terrific Thursday time and this year we plan

on having a WACKY WEDNESDAY TIME!
