FALL SCHEDULE RESUMES THIS SUNDAY!!!!! SUNDAY SCHOOL KICK OFF AT 9 A.M. AND WORSHIP AT 10:15 A.M.
ATTENDANCE: 132 OFFERING: $1,507.50
“Show no partiality.” We hear these words in our letter from James this
week. A powerful reminder for us that in the faith, in the church, in
Christ we are all viewed as equals. There is no social status in Christ’s
church. The simple truth is that we are all viewed by God as the same,
His beloved children. All of us holy and all of us broken. To give others
any other status is creating a division and disunion in the church. When
we view others as better or less than ourselves we begin to treat them
differently. When we treat them
differently we begin to see the love and
unity that Christ desires for His church
erode and eventually the church is
destroyed. So we look at each other
through the eyes of faith. We are all
sinners for whom Christ died. We are
all seeking to know Christ and His
powerful love. That is our unity!!

PRAYER JAR - You will notice a large jar sitting on the Hospitality Table as you
come to worship at New Hope. Many folks have said they don’t feel comfortable
speaking out loud or sharing their prayer concerns during announcement time. So
now you can place your prayer concerns in our prayer jar and we will pray over
the jar every Sunday. So bring your prayer concerns, or you can write them on the
paper provided and place them in our prayer jar.

American Bible Society — God’s Word is powerful and timeless and this Word brings hope
and promise to God’s people. So it is imperative that God’s Word be shared with the world.
The American Bible Society works to bring the Bible to every corner of this earth. That’s a
big mission that needs our support, both in prayer and financially. Please give generously so
that God’s Word may continue to be taken “unto all the world.”

Would you be willing to host a Bible Study in your
home? Pastor Tim is looking for a few homes to host a
small bible study. He will be the leader but just needs a
place for folks to gather. If you might be interested
please let him know. Schedules and times are wide
open at this point.
It’s time to jump, jump, jump those jiggles out, clap, clap, clap those crazies out and
sing, sing, sing our praises out on Wacky Wednesday. For those who may be confused
the Totally Terrific Thursday singers sang this song every week last year as one of their
opening songs. What will be different this year is that their praises will not be sung out
on Totally Terrific Thursdays but will be singing out once again on Wacky Wednesdays.
The time remains the same from 4:00-5:30 p.m. The place remains the same at Pastor
Kielley and Liz’s house at 58 Maple Avenue, Littlestown and the agenda remains the
same with bible study time, crafts, singing and snacks. Children ages 4 through
whatever are encouraged to sign up on the sheet found on the Hospitality Table. Choir
will begin on WEDNESDAY, SPETEMBER 19th. Kids, ask those who attended last
year and they will tell you we had a totally terrific Thursday time and this year we plan
on having a WACKY WEDNESDAY TIME!
