Sacred Heart Catholic Church Third Sunday in Ordinary Time–January 27, 2019
Reflection from the Pastor:
This week begins the national celebration of Catholic Schools Week.
Catholic schools are a clear way that the Catholic Church in the United
States of America forms disciples of Jesus Christ and
prepares them to be active members of the Church.
From the very beginning of our country, the Catholics
in America have promoted Catholic schools and have
encouraged all Catholics in every parish to support
their parochial schools by sending their children to the parish school and by
financial support. We are continuing that proud tradition here at Sacred
Heart with a strong enrollment and good teachers, administration and staff.
I am grateful for my own Catholic education: twenty-three years, from
Kindergarten to Fourth Theology!
On another note, I’d like to encourage as many of you as are interested to
come this Sunday at 4 pm to the cafeteria for an introduction to our
spiritual campaign. Jackie Arnold will be here to give us an overview of
what to expect and how we can help. I hope to see many of you there.

talentos.
