Safety is job one on construction sites. You can be the person who makes sure everyone goes home in one piece. With a degree or certificate from Collin College, you will have training in material handling, construction site safety, safety engineering, advanced risk management, and accident prevention, inspection and investigation, along with other vital aspects of construction. You will provide a service not only to your fellow construction workers, but also to the people who will live or work in the facilities being built. About Collin College’s Program The Collin College Safety program is designed to prepare students to enter the workforce as entry-level construction safety officers by providing a wide variety of construction safety and management courses. The program also provides the opportunity to complete an Associate of Applied Science degree that is specific to the construction industry for career advancement.
