Elegant body lines and bright livability of its spacious areas havedetermined the success for this Jacques Fauroux’s innovative project.“SUD” is available in three different confgurations optimized for 4/6 or8 guests, and for luxury or sporty cruises. It can be hired directly atthe main ports of the Italy’s west coast for weekly cruises. Its crew iscaptain and hostess/cook or captain and hostess/chef according toguests’ desires.

Our chef will propose before boarding the choice of menu and selection ofwines accompanied them.A selection of fne wines Gran Reserva is available with separate cost.

Cruising area

Cruising through breathtaking Italian mythological itineraries. Bay of Naples: sailing among Capri, Ischia, Procida, the beautiesof Sorrento and Amalf Coast;Pontine Islands: an amazing tour through Ponza, Ventotene, Zannoneand Palmarola;Eolie Islands: to discover a wild nature in Lipari, Salina,Stromboli, Panarea, Vulcano, Filicudi and Alicudi;Egadi Islands: to sail among the lonely Favignana, Levanzo andMarettimo.

Cruising through the lively harbours and craggy landscape of theBalearic island. Menorca: called “Blue and White” for it’s sparkling white houses anddeep blue sea;Palma de Mallorca: founded by Romans; it fourished under the Moors,and then became the Spanish capital of the islands;Ibiza: to discover his sandy or creeks beaches and clear turquoisewater everywhere.

Elegant and harmonious the hull hasbeautiful water lines and reachestrue fast cruiser performance.The teak deck is endowed with amplesun area and cushions.The pit, true meeting point of theboat, is spacious and protected,and it can accommodate comfortablya numerous party around the foldingtable for open horizon viewing andenchanting starry dinners.The ample liveable stern, open onthe water, is the perfect mergerbetween man and sea. The insideDeck Saloon gives bright and uniqueperspectives. The internal spaces,carefully detailed in solid teak,result generous with amplehabitable and comfortablyventilated cabins.Boat is of a medium - largedimension. This versatile 17 metersyacht, it is ideal for briefinshore navigations because of itsshort hull, and it can also besuitable for ocean navigationsthanks to the high cruising speed.

Crew: Capitain Luca Sbordone was born in Naples, Italy in 1962.Raised on the Bay of Naples, he broadened his expertise becoming a"connoisseur" of the waters and places on the Southern Mediterranean Sea. Onhis resume he has over 80,000 nautical miles through Greece, Turkey, Francebut most of all within the Italian waters, about a half of which as aprofessional sail yachts’ skipper. Such an amount of experience has givenhim a deep knowledge of the Mediterranean places and waters.

License of Offshore Captain I.M.O. S.T.C.W. 78/95.He has interests in Archeology and Conservation;he has participated in several restorationassignments within The Herculaneum ConservationProject for The Packard Humanities Institute inthe archaeological site of Herculaneum.Sailing Instructor since years 90’s. Successfulfeet and match racer.Licensed Scuba Diver by P.A.D.I. Open Water Diver. Many years of experience as arigger of sail yachts, he has a strong technicalknowledge of all nautical gear.BS degree in Business and Administration
