SJB CARES Donation Drive

Monetary and item donations are being accepted dur-ing all of February to support OUR LADY OF GUA-DALUPE MATERNITY CENTER and its efforts in assisting mothers and young children in need. Envelopes are located in the front and rear of the church-each envelope has recommended amounts of an item needed by the maternity center. Monetary do-nations, can be dropped in the weekly collection or at the parish office. For those who prefer to donate an item, items can be left in containers that will be available in the church hall. Items that are needed by the maternity center in-clude:

New infant clothes for layettes Baby socks

The 2020 – 2021 St. John Bosco Catholic Education Schol-arship Grant Applications for grades K - 12 are now availa-ble at the information desk right outside the parish office.

SJB Food Bank

The SJB Food Bank Garden group is thinking about spring! We are happy to report we donated 6200 pounds of produce to Nourish food bank including produce grown, gleaned and donated. Thank you to all the hard work of our group and all of you who contributed to helping us feed our hungry neighbors. Watch for opportunities to help us get our garden started on Saturday’s during Lent. This is a wonderful op-portunity for service and building our community!

Many of us were delighted to hear our Youth Choir sing on Christmas Day. We are encouraging all youth ages 6 - 18 to join us again to sing on Easter Sunday. All youth are wel-come! We will begin rehearsals directly after the 9:30am Mass on Sunday, March 1. No need to sign up...just show up!
