Story:Her story is basically during on her death:• She had died and they had buried her, but they

were going to move her body some where else but, they noticed that there was no smell, so they opened it to check if she was there but her body was still clean the way they buried it! They were surprised! Because it was about a month/week and it was still clean and had no smell, by a week the body would have rotten and had turned into a skeleton

Quotes:

• Without love, deeds, even the most brilliant, count as nothing.

• Be not afraid to tell Jesus that you love Him; even though it be without feeling, this is the way to oblige Him to help you, and carry you like a little child too feeble to walk.

• For one pain endured with joy, we shall love the good God more forever.

Death:• On the night between Holy Thursday and Good Friday

in 1896, Therese experienced her first spitting up of blood from tuberculosis.

• Over the next 18 months, her disease was even worse. In the months she prayed for the grace to "spend my heaven doing good on earth" and promised that after her death she would send "a shower of roses" from heaven.

• Offering her sufferings for the salvation of souls, Therese died of tuberculosis on September 30, 1897, at the age of 24.

Why I chose this saint:

• The reason I chose this saint was not because it was a homework thing, I chose this saint because I searched about her to find more about her, and I realized that her story was a miracle, I also chose this saint because her feast day is almost on my birthday!

Prayer:• Father in heaven, through Saint Theresa of the Child

Jesus, You desire to remind the world of the merciful love that fills Your Heart and the childlike trust we should have in You. Humbly we thank You for having crowned with such great glory Your ever-faithful child and for giving her wondrous power to bring to You, day by day, innumerable souls who will praise You eternally.

• O Lord, You said, “Unless you….become like little children, you shall not enter the Kingdom of God grant us, we beg of You, to walk in the footsteps of Your virgin, Saint Theresa, with humility and purity of intention so that we may obtain eternal rewards. You live and reign forever. Amen.
