The San Diego Organization of Healthcare Leaders (SOHL) is an affiliated chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) — the premier international professional society for leaders across all sectors of the healthcare industry.
Our members are aspiring and established industry leaders from San Diego and Imperial County hospitals, health systems, insurers, managed care organizations, suppliers, consultants, volunteer agencies, academia, government and military programs, as well as students committed to healthcare management.
Established in 2001, SOHL is one of the fastest growing mid-sized ACHE affiliated chapters. Our organization has consistently been honored with ACHE’s Award of Chapter Distinction and its Award for Sustained Performance.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
As a member of the San Diego Organization of Healthcare Leaders (SOHL), you’ll join a network of nearly 600 healthcare professionals and students from our region. If you have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, you also will become part of ACHE, one of the nation’s most prestigious organizations of healthcare leaders.

Mentoring & Volunteer OpportunitiesAs a SOHL member, you will have opportunities to volunteer with a SOHL Board committee, assisting with event planning or logistics, creative writing, marketing, sponsorship, research or data support. Volunteering may even eventually lead to a Board position. With at least 5 years of leadership experience, you may have the opportunity to become a mentor to healthcare students, early careerists and other health professionals, helping them to develop their skills and grow professionally.
