Take a magical train ride with Santa Claus and his elves on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013. A decorated PATCO train will make several trips from Lindenwold to Philadelphia between 10 a.m. and noon, and you can hop aboard at any station for a festive train ride. You can continue your holiday fun in Philly by visiting the model railroad at Reading Terminal Market, the holiday decorations and light show at Macy’s, Christmas Village at Love Park and the Comcast Holiday Spectacular.

Take a magical train ride with Santa Claus and his elves. Festive decorated trains will make three trips, leaving the Lindenwold station at 9 a.m., 10:35 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. and picking up passengers at all stops along the way for a festive day in the city. Trains run every 20 minutes throughout the day, but to catch Santa’s Silver Sleigh to Philadelphia, be ready to board at the following times:
• Lindenwold – 9 a.m., 10:35 a.m. or 12:05 p.m. • Ashland – 9:02 a.m., 10:37 a.m. or 12:07 p.m. • Woodcrest – 9:03 a.m., 10:38 a.m. or 12:08 p.m. • Haddonfield – 9:06 a.m., 10:41 a.m. or 12:11 p.m. • Westmont – 9:08 a.m., 10:43 a.m. or 12:13 p.m. • Collingswood – 9:10 a.m., 10:45 a.m. or 12:15 p.m. • Ferry Avenue – 9:12 a.m., 11:47 a.m. or 12:17 p.m. • Broadway – 9:15 a.m., 10:50 a.m. or 12:20 p.m. • City Hall – 9:16 a.m., 10:51 a.m. or 12:21 p.m. Regular fares apply for all customers ages five and older.

Franklin Square’s Electrical Spectacle FREEFranklin Square | 6th & Race Streets A holiday light show featuring dancing lights, a 10-foot-tall kite and holiday music every 30 minutes. Other festivities include visits from Santa and other special guests; rides on the carousel and holiday train; seasonal treats; a beer garden; and mini-golf.11/9-12/31 | Daily, weather permitting. Two alternating shows take place every 30 minutes daily. Sun.-Thurs.: 4:30pm-8pm; Fri-Sat.: 4:30pm-9pm.
