This document talks about standard JOBs in Marketing Cloud to enrich and data manipulation. It is a very useful tool, based in criteria can enrich or delete records not used, or not important after months or years.

1. Customization

1.1. Description

On this article I will talk about JOBs available on Marketing Cloud to enrich or delete data in SAP Cloud. After years some data cannot be relevant for the business, and a data clean up it is necessary. There are some standard JOBs already created by SAP to do this task.

I hope you enjoy !!





1.2. Data Identification

First thing first !! Let´s identify which records we are going to delete. So, let´s go to “Data Administration” and click on “Browse Interaction Data”.

Please, memorize this!! There are 4 records on the screen below referring to “Sales Order”. And our objective is deleting those records using standard JOBs.

1.3. Scheduling the JOB

After analyzing and identify our record criteria, let´s go to “Application JOBs” represented by screen below.

Appears the Application JOBs, and now, I will click on button + to create a JOB.





For this example, I will delete useless interaction records. Then, I choose the JOB template “Interactions: Delete Interactions”

I defined a JOB´s name, and for this example I will define “Start Immediately”





On Parameters section, I define the criteria. And I will delete all interactions with Interaction Type SALES_ORDER.

Initially I will define a test mode, better say Safe than Sorry, right ??





It’s executed successfully !! And now let’s check the LOG clicking below.

1.4. Results

Now, It’s the real thing. I will change to “Productive Mode”, and then click on “Schedule”





It’s in Process

And Done !! It was 79 interaction records deleted!!





Now, let´s check below, there is not Sales Order record below.
