1. Installation of Sapphire (iPad eMenu)

1.1. Installation Go to www.aptsys.com.sg/Aptsys/Aptsys.html to download the eMenu under Aptsys eMenu title.

For first time installation, double click on the title to go to table list page.

Click on the eMenu button to get into the eMenu Main page.

Click to go to the settings page.

*Note; You need to be in online mode to refresh the database.

For first time installation, select the settings. (Follow the steps above). It will bring you to the settings page which able you add/update the settings. Settings page allows you to key in the Group ID, Restaurant ID, Pos Server IP, Pos Server Port, and Terminal ID if necessary. *Note; Remember to refresh database after changing the settings.

1. Select Send OUDID button to send an OUDID approval.

1.1 Enter your restaurant’s Group ID in the textbox. 1.2 Select send button to confirm your restaurant’s Group ID

2. Wait for approval message will pop out.

2.1 Wait for the approval after you send your OUDID.

3. Enter your group ID, restaurant ID, (Pos Server IP, Pos Server Port, and Terminal ID if necessary.

*Note; a) Please remember to select save button after entering the details

b) Select the button after step (a) which will show at the top right hand corner. Note;

button must refresh if any changes in the system.

You can choose Yes/No for the options of internet availability Yes = Online mode No – Offline mode


2. Sapphire (iPad eMenu) Basics

2. 1 Introduction Sapphire (iPad eMenu) allows self-service of setting the settings, assigning table, viewing table list, selecting & sending order menu item. The main purpose of Amber (iPod eMenu) is to provide you with a user friendly and online tool to manage ordering menu item in the eMenu.

2.2 Splash screen This is the splash screen of Amber (iPod eMenu).

Double click on this splash page to start using the eMenu.

Click on the eMenu button to get into the eMenu page for ordering. Double click on the title to go to the settings page.


2.3 Navigation Settings

Click to go to the settings page.

Firstly, check if the group ID & restaurant ID is filled. Settings page allows you to key in the Group ID, Restaurant ID, IP Address, Port Number, and Terminal ID & select Work Mode, OUDID necessary. *Note;

1. Remember to click to save the settings.

2. After saving, click to refresh the database.


3. Table Management

3.1 Assign table in the table list

Once you select the table you want to assign, an opening table list will be appeared.

3 sub category to view the table list

(All, Available, Occupied)

Select any table available to assign a table for the customer

*Note; There are 3 different colors (Green, Orange, Red)

(Orange color = Offline mode)

(Green color = Table available & online mode)

(Red color = Table is not available & online mode)

Put the number of customers in the cover textbox.

Select to confirm the details.

will appear after confirmation.

will appear in red to show the table is being assigned.


3.2 View the available/ occupied table list You can view available table that can assign to customers.

Available tab will show all the tables that are available to be assigned.

Select the occupied tab to view the table that is occupied. Currently, there is only 1 table is occupied.

*Note; Table A is not inside the available page as it has been assigned to customers.


4 Menu Management Menu management allows users to view the menu in an organized way and able to provide a user-friendly way to manage ordering menu item in the eMenu.

4.1 View & Order food from the eMenu list

4.2 Order food/drinks from the eMenu list In the order food page, you can select the options for adding special request, quantity of food.

Select to order the food you want.

The tabs on the sides show the category of food/drinks available.

More available food/drinks available once each selected category is selected.

*Note;

If an item has instead of button. This means that the items is not available on that time.


This page will pop out after is selected. It will show the item details for the selected food. *Note; You can swipe left or right to browse through the category of items.

Click the arrow to select the number of quantity of food in a convenient way.

Scroll down to the number of quantity you want, and double click on it.

To add in special request, you can key it in the special request textbox.

Select at the top right hand corner to submit the orders after confirmation.

+ Sign for increasing the quantity of food - Sign for decreasing the quantity of food. *Note; If you continue to minus the number when it reach 1. It will prompt you this to confirm.

This number shows the total quantity is selected for the selective food.

Click to delete the food item.

*Note; You can close the page by selecting at the top right hand corner.


4.3 Food Modifier

4.4 Set Meal For food that is set meal, you need to select 1 food choices that given in (Side Dish/Soup, Main Course, Dessert)

In the event if the food can be modified. It will lead you to this option if the food is selected. *Note; You are unable to order the food if the modifier option is not selected.

An error message will pop out if no modifier option is selected.

Select the option and scroll till the option you want & click it.


Select each item in each category(Side Dish/Soup, Main Course, Dessert) by tapping on it. After you select the food, you can add special request for the food.

Select the Add to Course button to choice it.

After selecting 3 food items for 3 different category. There will be an icon to show you the food items you have choosen.

Select to view the orders & submit it after confirmation.


Select to view the orders you have selected and send the orders after confirmation.

Select the Details to view the full information of food selected before sending the orders.


4.5 Send Orders from the eMenu list ( Normal Way)

5. View the bill of the table You can view the bill of each table by selecting to the table tab at the bottom.

4.6 Separate the bills In the event where you need to separate the bills within the customers.

This is the normal way of sending orders.

Select to confirm the orders and submit it.

An Order Confirmation will pop out after submit orders button is selected. This will shows the details which includes the number of quantity & price of the food/drink items you have selected.

Click Confirm to submit the orders & the confirmation will pop out.

Select button to create a new transaction in the same table.

This will create a new transaction within the same table.

1) Select Enter button to assign the device to the table.

2) Select View button to view the bill of the table.

*Note; Once you close the bill at POS, the table of the eMenu will change to open automatically.
