1.0 PROJECT SCOPE

The project scope includes Engineering, procurement, supply, installation, testing

and pre commissioning of new EO Thermal expansion vessel at SAUDI KAYAN

Plant. The brief scope of work is as below:

Design and detail engineering works for new EO Thermal expansion

vessel installation.

Supply of 01 EO Thermal expansion vessel, related piping and

instruments.

Civil foundation works for New EO Thermal expansion vessel.

Supply, fabrication, erection and modification of piping.

Painting and insulation works.

Cable laying for instruments.

Provision of instruments stanchions, transmitter sun shade and tube

fittings.

Configure new AO Card in the system.

DCS Configuration.

Scaffolding.

1.1 Scope of Supply and Services

1.1.1 SENDAN shall provide all the needful documents whenever required for

documentation

1.1.2 SENDAN shall comply with international standards as well as SABIC’s

standards for material / field execution.

1.1.3 SENDAN shall be required to provide all necessary equipment, tools,

skilled manpower and supervision for the job.



1.1.4 All material and consumable items required for this job shall be part of the

scope of SENDAN except those mentioned in 1.2.

1.1.5 SENDAN will be responsible for safe handling of material and

implementation of safe work practices required to complete the job.

1.2 Exclusions from SENDAN Scope & Supply by SAUDI KAYAN

Following are excluded from SENDAN’s scope and are not covered under this proposal:

1.2.1 SABIC/SAUDI KAYAN will provide the access for SENDAN’s manpower

and equipment. SENDAN will provide the necessary documents.

1.2.2 SENDAN has not considered piling works in his quoted price.

1.2.3 SAFERAD for piping has not been considered, instead normal radiography

technique will be used.



2. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS This section specifies the technical specifications of work based on the scope of supply

and services specified in Section 1.0 of this technical proposal.

2.1 Data/Drawings/BOQ Basis

The subjected work proposed shall be based on the BOQ documents, drawings,

specifications and assumptions but on the conditions mentioned in Section 1.

3. PROJECT EXECUTION 3.1 Project Schedule 3.1 .1 Project Effective Date The Project Effective Date will be the start date of the Project and will be the date

by which the Purchase Order/LOI is received by SENDAN from client.

3.1.2 Project Completion Schedule a. The Project End Date will be the date of completion of the Project.

b. The project duration is as per attached schedule.

c. The Project completion schedule will be extended (at no cost to SENDAN) if:

· Client delays in fulfillment of its obligations specified in this proposal, and/or

· The accumulated delaying effects of the change orders, affect the overall

schedule; or

· The events of Force Majeure affect the Project schedule.
