1) Package Installation

1. Please close all Internet Explorer application before installation.

2. Copy the entire SBI FI - BMA Folder from CD and paste it in the Systems.

3. Open the Drivers folder



4. Open the folder “Cogent Drivers” and choose the folder as per the OS Bit to install the CSD200 drivers.



5. Double click the DPInst.exe



a. Click the next button to proceed with the driver installation.



b. Click the finish button to complete the installation.



6. Open the folder PB100 Driver and choose the folder as per the device and click the “ValiditySensorsSetup.exe” to install the PB100 Drivers

7. Double click the “SBI BMA Client.msi” to proceed the installation.





8. Click on Next.



9. Choose I Agree.



10. Click on Next.



11. Click on Next.



12. If the following error screen appears, click “Continue” to proceed the installation,

If the above mentioned error appears, after installation go to start->Accessories->command prompt, right click and select “Run as administrator” and move to installation location and run the “Register.bat”

13. Click Close.



14. Restart the system.

2) Plug-In Hardware - Connecting Scanner

Please connect the scanner to the USB Port



3) Configuring Biometric SDK

1. Check whether Java Runtime Environment is installed in the system, otherwise download

the latest jre in the following location

http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

2. Go to Control Panel and double click on Java

3. In General tab, click on settings uncheck the checkbox “keep temporary files on my

computer” and click ok.

4. In Advanced tab, Go to Mixed Code (sandboxed Vs. trusted) security verification, select the

radio button “Disable verification”



5. Add the Server IP address to the Trusted Sites

1.1. In internet explorer, Click Tools and then Internet Option

1.2. Click Security tab, then click Trusted Sites > Sites.

1.3. Type the IP address into the Add this web site to the zone field, click Add.

1.4. Server IP address is added to the websites field.



4) Testing the Scanner

1. Move to Installation folder.

2. Locate TestLegendScanner.html

3. Open TestLegendScanner with Internet Explorer*.

4. Click “OK”



* This application will only work with Internet Explorer

5. Click on the “To help protect …….” And Select “Allow Blocked Content…” as shown in

the figure.

6. Click “Yes”

7. Click “TestScanner” button

8. Click “Yes”



9. Swipe Your Finger in Constant Speed until Green Images appears three times, if you didn’t

swipe properly it take more times and it’s normal.

10. Click “OK”, close the window.



11. Close the TestLegendScanner.html file before start using your application.
