Closed-loop services consolidate premedia, printing and fulfillment of retailer promotional materials under one roof. The sustainability benefits are enormous. This advanced process drives time and cost savings and focuses transportation resources on final delivery of products, not on intermediate stages. Today, it especially benefits Schawk clients who operate over wide geographical areas.

• Production art, printing and packing and shipping: Schawk analyzes data coming directly from the retailer’s cash registers through its Online Inventory Management and Tracking System. When integrated with Schawk’s digital printing capabilities, this enables each store to order and obtain the right products at the right time. As few as one or two pieces of targeted collateral can be printed efficiently for a single store through variable-data technology. This greatly reduces printing resources and waste.

• Custom pack-out: Delivers customized materials based on precise store data, eliminating the printing and shipping of unneeded materials.

• FsC Certification: This certification of Schawk’s 100,500-square-foot Los Angeles facility represents our commitment to the management of natural resources. It assures Schawk clients that requests for FSC-certified paper can be documented all the way through the supply chain.
