1. Login into ProQuest
Go to Evidence search
Click on Journals and databases

Select ProQuest New Platform
Click on Login to OpenAthens

1. Select NHS England from the (very long!) dropdown list 2. Click on Login
Click on Searching 5 databases

The default has all databases selected to search simultaneously 1. Untick Select all 2. Tick the database you want 3. Click on Use selected databases
Click on Advanced search in either of these places

1. Tick on box to add result to clipboard (Selected items) 2. Click on Selected items to view the clipboard
All items will automatically be selected: 1. Click on Export/Save 2. Choose RIS 3. Leave download settings to default

11. Saving a search
4. When you’re signed in My Research has (your name) next to it
1. Click on the tick box(es) 2. Click on “Save”
3. You will be prompted to sign in or create an account

12. Changing database and rerunning searches Although it is possible to rerun searches as yet I have not been able to find a way to rerun the same search in a different database.
Each line of a search is saved as a separate search
You can only rerun multiple searches at a time by combining them with Boolean. You need to run each search separately if you want to show results for each line
