The number of priests per Catholic has declined over the past 40 years. This makes it more difficult for individual parishioners to establish a close relationship with any one particular priest. Furthermore, priests are no longer the only ones who offer pastoral care to our people. Yet without a priest, no parish is able to be a Eucharistic community. It is important to reaffirm the importance of the priesthood of Jesus Christ

Marriage Anniversary Mass The annual Diocesan Marriage Anniversary Mass will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Caren-cro. The 2:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated by Monsignor W. Curtis Mallet.

Grade High School CCD teacher for the Fall!
We are looking for an individual or a couple that will be willing to teach our 7th or 10th Grade CCD class in the Fall. Our classes are held on Sundays, from 6 — 8 pm for 12 weeks. Classes begin in August until the beginning of November. If you feel you are being called to this ministry, please speak with Father Harrington after any Mass.
