• Vehicle registrations across the country increased by nearly 4% in October year-on-year due to buying in the festive season, with two wheeler and passenger vehicle registrations marking a jump of 4% and 11%, respectively, while commercial vehicles dropped by 23%. Positive for automobile industry

• Yes Bank on Tuesday said RBI has found it underreported bad loans by Rs.3,277 crore in FY19 of which, the Bank said Rs.1,259 crore has already been classified as non-performing assets as on 30 September, 2019 and Rs.2,018 crore is the incremental bad loan. Negative for Yes Bank

• Unions of Tata Steel workers on Tuesday said they would hold the Indian-owned company to its promise that it would not lay off workers until the end of 2021. Negative for Tata steel.

• Tata Global Beverages (TGBL) and US-based Starbucks Coffee — continues to grow its business. It posted 26 per cent revenue growth in the September quarter, backed by expansion in new geographies and growth in existing store sales. Positive for Tata Global.

The Indian stock market opened on a positive note on Tuesday and stayed firm right through the session to eventually close with strong gains gains thanks to hectic buying in telecom and energy sectors.. Nifty ended up 55.6 points, at 11940.1.

Nifty is stuck between 12030 to 11800 from last 14 trading sessions where index formed small body green candle in previous session. Positive trend may continue only if nifty breach the channel and sustain above 12030.
