    Best Korean Restaurants in Seoul is a project which has been actively carried out by Seoul City since 2003. The main purpose of this project is to preserve

    Korean traditional food culture and introduce good restaurants with organicingredients and unique recipe to both Koreans and foreigners.

    All 121 restaurants selected by Best Korean Restaurants in Seoultake the initiative in introducing healthy and tasty Korean food prepared

    in a traditional way with the freshest seasonal ingredients.

  • The whole world is now in fierce competition for culinary supremey. Many world-famous tourist cities are attracting foreign tourists with

    their exquisite food culture and, equally, many others are rolling up their sleeves in order to turn their unique traditional cuisine

    into cultural tourism resources. Not to be outdone, Seoul City has been publishing the guidebook Best Korean Restaurants in Seoul every year

    in order to boast the excellence and charm of Korean food. Traditional Korean dishes such as Kimchi,

    which was introduced as one of the world's top five healthy foods by the U.S. media; bulgogi; various traditional sauces; nutritious ssambap;

    and bibimbap, to name only a few, have made their names as global products. This year's guidebook contains a list of famous restaurants in Seoul

    and introduces the special dishes originating from the various regions of Korea with taste, flavor, and color blending in a perfect harmony like works of art.

    We hope that Best Korean Restaurants in Seoulwill serve as an efficient guide to the taste and charm of Seoul for both Koreans and foreigners alike and an excellent means

    of showcasing Korean culinary culture to the whole world.
