3. Pelvis belt

Pull the pelvis belt’s tongue out of the belt reel.

Then place belt around the wheelchair occupant’s pelvis, and click tongue into the buckle of the stalk.

CAUTION: Always place the belt in lowest possib-le position with regard to the occupant’s pelvis. If ne-cessary, pull belt through below the wheelchair’s arm rests. If the belt is placed too high, and lies against the occupant’s tummy, there’s the risk of submarining in case of an emergency braking or frontal crash.

4. Automatic shoulder belt

Pull automatic shoulder belt over the wheelchair occupant’s shoulder, and click it into retractor buckle (for Kraftknoten snap into pelvis belt).

CAUTION: Belt must not constrict the occupant’s neck at any time, nor must the belt slip over the occupant’s shoulder!

5. Wheelchair head rest (if applicable)

Push the AMF-Bruns wheelchair head rest along the wheelchair’s handles, and tighten star knobs. Head rest is individually ad-justable in terms of height and tilt angle (hexagon bar in tube).

1. How to fix the electric belts to the wheelchair

Please release electric belts via rocker switch in the vehicle’s rear. Press rocker switch down as shown in the above figure.

Snap electric belts out of tongue, and pull belts towards the wheelchair.

Thread loop through the up-per outer wheelchair frame (or the double tube frames etc), and close with belt buckle. It’s crucial to always use the frame’s highest pos-sible anchor point! Never at any time fix belts to the foot rest!

Now lock electric belts via rocker switch, and push the wheelchair into the vehicle.

CAUTION: Pull wheelchair back gradually to ensure straps roll up tightly!

2. How to fix the rear tension belts to the wheelchair

Snap the tension belt’s fitting into the rail or monofitting.

CAUTION: Please make sure to always pull the fitting diagonally whilst snapping it into the rail, and do only operate with one hand!

Pull the belt completely out of the retractor. If necessary, press red arrest device.

Then thread loop through wheelchair frame, and close with buckle.

Fix the second tension belt accordingly, and fasten wheelchair with both hand wheels.

CAUTION: Release the fastened wheelchair by pushing the red arrest device. Now undo the at-tached belt directly at the wheelchair. Never release the belt at the fitting!

The fitting can be unsnapped by pulling up the plunger.
