Gentili Ospiti,
Dear Guests,
The magic of Italy is to be found both in its infinite capacity for excellence and in its beauty, nature, culture, traditions and art. And each year, at the end of summer, many Italian cities host great art exhi-bitions featuring Italian and international artists, attracting art lovers from all over the world thanks alsoto the special packages our hotels offer for these unrivalled occasions.
Over the next few months Rome, Milan, Florence and Venice will host some of the greatestpainters of all times: Vermeer, Picasso, Fattori and Guardi. While in Parma the spotlight will be on theBritish painter Graham Sutherland, and Turin will glow with the priceless jewels of the fabled gold-smith Carl Fabergé.
Our group has always had a vocation for the best of Made in Italy, that compendium of tra-ditions and materials, customs, arts and crafts that combine to create Italian style, recognized theworld over for its extraordinary creativity, originality and merit, and which has always been an inte-gral part of our hotels.
This is the season of harvests and of the autumnal fruits of the earth: wines, oils, truffles, mush-rooms, chestnuts, vegetables and citrus fruits which inspire our chefs to create dishes in which qua-lity produce and age-old traditions blend in an array of delights for the palate and for the eye.
We are extremely proud that our hotels recently received prestigious awards, underlining oncemore the significant role SINA Hotels plays in the sphere of hospitality and of Italian excellence.

to, porta occhiali, porta abiti, porta tutto…

what as surprise! You will discover one of the oldest and great leather roman artisan in
Rome, Aldo Filosini owner with his wife Natalina of the oldest leather shop and factory in
Rome called “The Leather Craftsman”.
The factory (located in Vicolo dei Maroniti) moved in the area during the 70’s
when Aldo, who starts his career when he was only thirteen years old, had finished
his apprenticeship to “Vecchia Scuola del Cuoio” in the 60’s.
We believe, luckily for us, that he cannot do anything else but going on with his
work with the leather as he also said, his work is also his passion.
Bags, belts, wallets and other accessories both for men and women are made in a
variety of quality leathers and colours and some of them, as Aldo told us during
our visit, without any chemical products applied and only vegetable tanning too.
He is pleased to realize leather pieces with great perfection and finishing touches so
to get the customers satisfied. You can find beautiful fashionable woman bags, brief-
cases, satchels, suitcases, wallets, charge purses, writing desk sets, keychains, key
cases, leather boxes, card folders, spectacle cases, penholders and anything you can
image made of real good leather.
Entering in the factory your senses are stirred up with the memory of the smell of
the old leather and you can move freely over the thousand bags, wallets and belts
well organised on shelves and you are scure that plastic is forbidden in the shop.
We trust that a visit to them it is not time wasted and it is one of the few old shops in Roma
where is convenient to buy.

lari e grande abilità, arrivano sulle nostre tavole.
no di ricotta, spinaci e parmigiano.
Al Roof Restaurant L’Olimpo, all’ultimo piano
grappe e i liquori.
Autumn is the season of warm colours, of harvests and of gastronomic delights like “vino novel-
lo”, truffles, chestnuts, root vegetables, citrus fruits and mushrooms. A season that blends the gol-
den light of summer with the softer hues of the cooler months, rewarding us with days of rare
beauty. Harvest time is a ritual cycle that repeats itself year in and year out yielding new fruits of
the earth. Genuine products that, thanks to a production chain of age-old traditions and skills,
arrive on our tables. In the SINA Hotels lovers of good food and culinary creativity will find end-

traditions, local products like ham, “culatello”, Parmesan cheese and the famous “tortelli d’er-
betta”, mouth-watering little cushions of pasta with a delicate “ricotta”, spinach ad parmesan stuf-
fing, triumph on the tables of Maxim’s Restaurant in the Palace Maria Luigia. The first “vino novel-
lo” of 2012 from the nearby Chianti region are laid down the cellars of the Lorenzo de’ Medici
Restaurant in the Grand Hotel Villa Medici in Florence, while in the Relais Villa Matilde in Ro-
mano Canavese close to Turin, porcini mushrooms and truffles, including the highly prized white
Piedmont truffles, delight patrons at the Le Scuderie Restaurant. The chef of the L’Olimpo Roof
Restaurant, on the top floor of the Bernini Bristol in Rome, never tires of hunting down recipes
and flavours from other eras, finding inspiration in the traditions of regional Mediterranean cuisi-
ne and using only the freshest of seasonal produce. Autumn is also the season of food festivals
which in the Veneto focus on great wines like Amarone, Bardolino and Soave as well as the
region’s famous grappas and liqueurs. It is also a season of fresh-water fish from the Adriatic coast
which is a staple on the menu at Antinoo’s Lounge & Restaurant of the Centurion Palace in
Venice, which was recently awarded the prestigious Michelin Four Forks.

interessarsi all’arte facendo essa parte integrante della propria comunicazione ufficiale.
ting, di numerosi riferimenti all’arte.

preparata dai nostri predecessori.
The Art Gallery deals with this multifaceted Artist from 1980.
Since that time the role of the Gallery was not only to spread the Artist’s name
but also to awaken collectors and private and public institutions in order that art
is an integral part of their official communication.
After the short technicist period in which they believed that the massive industrial production
would also replace the human imagination and that technology would be the only heir of the
humanist world, we are experiencing a slow but inexorable rediscovery of the values of con-
templation and manual dexterity.
Managers have started to enrich the corporate communication and marketing with a lot of refe-
rences to art.
In the past the wealthy men of power, resources and culture, well understood that artists could
celebrate their businesses and maximize their memory, leaving to posterity precious works of art.
The Catholic Church was the most prominent example in the Modern Era of an Institution caring
and capable to make art an effective instrument to edification of Civil Society.
So all the people gathered around the commissioned great works of art.
Our country can boast such a priceless cultural heritage thanks to those great patrons who loved
art supporting their own personal moral and material interests. Today you can still continue that
way prepared by our predecessors so well.
The Art Gallery “Galleria d’Arte III Millennio” is here to renew your confidence in those ancient
but totally modern values.

Venice, Florence, Parma and Turin - will open their doors to major exhibitions featuring some
of the world’s greatest artists.
Rome will host the first ever exhibition in Italy of Vermeer, the great 17th-century Dutch painter.
One of the most important exhibitions of the year, it will run through 13th January in the Scuderie
del Quirinale, a venue easy to reach at walking distance, from the Hotel Bernini Bristol right in
the city centre. The Picasso exhibition in Milan, at Palazzo Reale, open up to
6th January, chronicles the evolution of the artistic language of this great 20th-
century master, and can be enjoyed by guests staying at The Gray or the Hotel
De la Ville, the two SINA properties very close to the exhibition venue.
Florence will host an exhibition through 4th November putting Tuscany in the
picture with over 100 works by the Macchiaoli leader Giovanni Fattori and his
fellow artists Signorini, Abbati, Cecconi... An exhibition not to be missed by
anyone staying at the Grand Hotel Villa Medici, a luxury hotel with a charming
garden and pool in the heart of Tuscany’s great art city. Venice is home to two
stunning SINA properties the Centurion Palace and the Palazzo Sant’Angelo and the city’s Correr
Museum will feature, through 6th January, the works of an illustrious Venetian: Francesco Guardi
whose evocative paintings of evanescent and dreamlike cities are inspired by his own splendid
lagoon city. In Parma the lights in the Magnani Rocca Foundation are on the British artist Graham
Sutherland with works from private collections, some on exhibition for the first time. For this must-
see event the Palace Maria Luigia has a special package with an overnight stay and entrance ti-
ckets to the exhibition. And for guests of the Relais Villa Matilde, just outside Turin, the first capi-
tal of Italy is currently delighting in the dazzling works of the famous goldsmith Carl Fabergé,
jeweller to the last Tsar, on view in the Venaria Reale very easily to reach from the hotel.

in Europa, in America latina, Stati Uniti, Canada, Emirati Arabi e Russia.
Massimiliano Schiavon was born in Murano on March, 24th 1971. It is the
curiosity of childhood which drew him to this mysterious material able to
change shape and color according to the Master’s will. That same curiosity today,
makes Massimiliano Schiavon the passionate and creative Master the world knows.
He specializes in creating artistic items, actually as Unique Works, accompanied by a
Certificate of Guarantee signed by the Artist and marked 1/1. Certainty “the best publicity
is the well-made work”, Massimiliano continues to invent new Collections and together with the
Maestri (Masters) who today work with him offer always a unique product. His strenght is the
free hand work, without any support of mold and thanks to a continuous search for creative
novelty. This great passion and talent takes him to re-opening his grandfather's Factory: today he
exposes more than 2.000 mq of pure Art in Murano and through different Galleries in the world.
A great commendation therefore to the Masters: Claudio Zama, Giorgio Valentini, Wili Bardella
and opening our new furnace, also to Luca Bardella. Today we export and expose in Italy,
Europe, South America, USA, Canada, UAE and Russia.
