What I Have Done So During The Editing Process

So far I have done a lot of the lip-syncing and marking the beats using markers and looking carefully at the audio waves. I have also cut the song at every 4 bars of the beat.

I have now come to the stage where we have just finished and presented the rough cut, meaning we have cut and arrange the footage that we filmed into basetracks.I have also changed the speed of some clips and its attributions.

New Editing Skills I Have Learnt During The Editing Process

This so far year I learnt how to edit using basetracks, as this is the style of editing for music videos. I have learnt how to lip-sync footage and audio. I have learnt how to use different special effects which I didn’t know of and how to use last year when I was in AS, for example with the projection clip we have cropped the motion and added a high feather scale, which last year I had no idea what this would mean or how to do it.
