In the 15 th century, the greatest guru Shree Vallabhacharyaji graced this earth. He toured over India barefooted and noticed that people had become greatly disturbed by worldly vices. Honesty was almost destroyed and most had become impure and hypocritical. He noticed that all paths of Action, Knowledge and Bhakti were no longer effective. When he became extremely worried about the divine souls, Lord Shree Krishna appeared to him and stated, "Your worry about the spiritual revival of divine souls is justified. The only way is by dedicating themselves to Me. They must realize that only by dedicating themselves, their lives, wealth, spouse, children, and their all to Me will they be able to obtain Me. They must acknowledge and perform their duty to Me with humbleness. Then I shall accept them”. Lord Shree Krishna then bestowed "Gadya mantra" (divine spiritual formula for reunion with the Lord). Thus commenced the Brahmasambandh initiation, through Shree Mahaprabhuji and followed by the Vallabh-kul Balaks over the years. The Bhavarth that we will recite at every one of our Satsang is to remind ourselves of the significance of this “link” between us and Lord Shree Krishna. In this mantra the jeev atma (individual soul) realizes its true self, it states I am part of Lord Shree Krishna I have been separated from Him for thousands of years Hence I have forgotten Lord Shree Krishna completely I have not felt the need to seek Him and reunite with Him. In this condition of separation I am joyless. Now I realize that mistake. I am such a disembodied soul. Oh Krishna! My body and it's 10 sensory organs, vital breath, mind, life, spouse, children, relatives, house, wealth, all my karmas in this life and lives hereafter, along with my 'atma soul', I surrender to you. You are their Master from today. Nothing is mine, everything is yours. I will not use any of above for my selfish happiness, but I will use it in my capacity to serve you, Oh Krishna! I am completely yours.
