enactus ENIM, TEDxENIMonastir Curator and SUSI Alumni.
Since I was a kid, I was fan with community services and association work. Being a member of the child council of Medenine for five years and a member
of theatre club of the pioneer school of Medenine, gave me the opportunity to meet many people from all over the world like French, Italy, England... These
experiences taught me in an early age that to be a significant and cultivated person I need to see the world from different visions and to be able to judge
and be judged, to be interested and interesting. I came to realize that life is all about experiences, relationships, cultures and community involvement.
My Principe in life “BE GLOBAL, BE POSITIVE, BE BETTER”, I want to make the world a better place by thinking globally and acting locally.

I have succeeded to get a license to organize TEDxENIMonastir
in my university under the theme “Dare to Change”, according to my
principal in life “BE GLOBAL, BE POSITIVE, BE BETTER” which
is something that I want to apply to the whole world.
Through hardships and very modest means we did manage to put
quite a show that was met with total success and attendees
'admiration, who were inspired by the very positive and outstanding
ideas of our 11 speakers, from different disciplines, as they did enjoy
the music show of very talented local students.
Young students, community leaders such as the Governor, the
Mayor, the Vice Mayor, Directors of different universities, social
activists did all attend our TEDx event.. The latter was covered by
local and national media.

Printing books in Braille for the blind in Algeria, training the youth to have
social venture in Tunisia, finding jobs for disabled people in the Ivory Coast,
recycling bottles in Senegal: We are pressing issues in Africa with one goal in
common: Making the world a better place to live in through entrepreneurial actions.
We were a group of 40 college student leaders from North and Sub-Saharan
Africa. We spent five weeks in University of Connecticut learning startup strategies.
The program is part of an exchange that is sponsored by the U.S. Department of
State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs to promote a better understanding
of American history, government, and society abroad and to help develop future
leaders.
The program, known as Study of the U.S. Institute for Student Leaders SUSI, is
hosted by about half a dozen U.S. universities. Each has a different theme, such as
religious pluralism, global environment, journalism, and women’s leadership.
UConn, through its Global Training and Development Institute, did host the student
leaders institute in social entrepreneurship for the fifth consecutive year. We were
selected by U.S. Embassy officials in a highly competitive application process.
