Spencer’s burrowing frog

• It lives in the sandy riverbeds in central Australia. Size 30-45mm.It eats insects and termites. This frog does not chew like humans but instead swallows it.

Barking spider

• They live in mulga country. They eat insects lizards and frogs. Females can live up to 20 years. Their Predators are dingoes, feral cats, red foxes, and owls. Threats are tourists and rubbish in their habitat.

Bush Flies

The bush fly is a reddish brownish colour.They eat human blood, especially from the face.

There predators are humans and fly nets.The size of a bush fly is 8mm.

The bush fly is related to the common house fly.The bush fly family is called Muscidae

The bush flies live mainly in the Northern Territory.

This specimen was found in a little pool of water at the top of Uluru. It is sitting in a camera lens cap, and has a diameter of 62 millimetres (just over half a cm)
