Cowboys qualify relay teams, individuals for stateThe Goodland Cowboys qualified two

relay teams and two individuals for the All- State Track Championships to be held Friday and Saturday at Cessna Stadium at Wichita State University on Friday and Saturday.

Brock Wilkens qualified in the long jump and the 110 hurdles. Kelly Pearson qualified

in the high jump and as a member of the 4x100 relay team.

The relay team members include Reed Bellamy on both the 4x100 and 4x800 teams; Chris Bustillos on the 4x800 team and an alternate on the 4x100 relay; Colton Cooper on the 4x800 relay; Jason Cowan an alternate on the 4x800 relay; Nathan Deeds

on both 4x100 and 4x800 relays; Garth Helton on the 4x100 relay; Riley Oharah alternate on the 4x100 relay; and Dillon Trachsel on the 4x800 relay.

Coach Kent Teeter said the team will leave from Max Jones Fieldhouse at 9 a.m. on Thursday and arrive in Wichita about 2 p.m. He said the team members will practice

at Cessna Stadium about 3:30 p.m.Friday Wilkens will be in the boys 110

Cowboy Kelly Pearson bows his back to clear a jump in the regional track meet held Friday at Phil-lipsburg. Pearson qualified for the state track and field championships to be held Friday and Saturday at Cessna Stadium in Wichita. The Cowboys qualified two relay teams and Brock Wilkens in 110 hurdles and long jump. The cowboys will leave for Wichita at 9 a.m. on Thursday from Max Jones Fieldhouse.
