    Wrens Cake and Coffee

The PTA are holding a cake and coffee afternoon on Thursday 5th February for the Wrens class, starting

at 2.45pm. All proceeds will go to the Wrens classroom. At the same time, the PTA are also holding a

nearly new book sale, with proceeds going to the PTA. Please bring in good quality used children's oradult's books on Tuesday 3rd or Wednesday 4th February, and don't forget your cake donations on

    Thursday 5th February.

    British Heart Foundation

You may have seen the adverts on the TV recently for

the British Heart foundation. We are going to mark

the Go Red day next Friday 6 February. We would

like all children to substitute 1 piece of school uniform

for something red e.g. you could wear red socks, a red

shirt, or a red jumper. Maybe you could wear red hair

accessories, or even red shoes (if you have them!) We

will be talking to the children about this on Monday

and sharing the TV advert with them. On the day we

are asking for voluntary donations of any amount which will go to the British hearth Foundation.

    School Website

There are some outstanding blogs on the school website

which are there to celebrate what we do, and to keep

you informed about your childrens learning. It is well

worth logging on to the site with your child and asking

them to tell you about their learning from the blogs.

Even better would be if you and your child could leave a comment. The teachers really enjoy

    reading them.

    Sainsburys Vouchers

We are now collecting Sainsburys school vouchers. Please send in with your child if you have

them. We have been able to provide equipment for use at playtime through these in the past.

    On-line Payments

Parents should have received a letter last week regarding on-line payments and how to set up an

account for your child. This will enable you to pay for educational visits; we will be introducingon-line payments for Dinner money after Easter further details will follow nearer the time.
