40 CANS FOR LENT Donating 40 cans of food during Lent, would help local families in need and is a way of maintaining our spirit of Lenten
sacrifice. The cans can be dropped off at the church office. Once collected they will be donated to a local Cookeville food bank.
DAUGHTER’S OF ISABELLA ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
The Daughters of Isabella are accepting applications for their annual scholar-ship. This award, in the amount of $1000, is given to a deserving high school senior girl chosen by a com-mittee of Daughters of Isabella members. Applica-tions can be picked up in the church the office.
SUICIDE AND HOPE This is a project of Father Chris Alar, MIC, a member of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception, the religious community entrusted with spreading the message and devotion of Divine Mercy. Father Alar's grand-
mother took her life when he was young so he is familiar with the concerns and grief of those left be-hind. Other resources are available on that site for "survivors of suicide." suicideandhope.com

REMINDER The groups in the myParish APP are for parishion-ers who are already part of that ministry or who would want to be part. I saw that many Hispanics asked to enter groups in English.

TORNADO RELIEF EFFORT
Let us coordinate our efforts to minister to our parishioners and community in distress due to the tornado. Donations in mone-tary form can be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Church with “tornado relief” written on the memo.

S.T.O.P. ST. THOMAS OUTREACH PROGRAM
The S.T.O.P. outreach program, which provides assistance, to families in need, withing the community is in need of more volunteers. We meet on Tuesday mornings from 9am—11am in the Conference Room. Volunteers take in appli-cations and interview those individuals requesting assistance. If you are interested in this ministry, please call Susan O’Connor at 931-537-6786

RELIGIOUS ED.
FIRST COMMUNION - CONFIRMATIONS
The Religious Ed. Classes for all grades K-High School will be cancelled for the rest of this school year. Sacramen-tal Preparation classes, assessments and parent meetings for Confirmation and First Communion have also been cancelled for now. Both Confirmation for April 3rd and First Communion for May 2nd have been postponed, will keep in contact as more information becomes available. For parents preparing their children at home for First Communion please continue to work with them.
The Confirmation interviews already scheduled for the week of March 22-29 will still take place in the parish office, since these are on one-on-one basis. If you would prefer to reschedule for this time, until a new Confirmation date is available, please call the church office to let us know.

ADORACIÓN - ORACIÓN PERSONAL
La iglesia estará abierta de Lunes a Jueves de 2pm - 4pm y los Viernes de 9am - 11am y 2pm - 4pm para un tiempo personal de adoración y oración silenciosa con el Señor. Este es un buen momento para reflexionar individualmente y abrir nuestra alma al Señor, para adorar, dar gracias, pedirle ayuda y escuchar a Jesús.
CATEQUESIS - COMUNIÓNES - CONFIRMACIÓNES
Las clases de catequesis para todos los grados(K-Secundaria) están canceladas por el resto de este año escolar. Las clases de preparación sacramental, evaluaciones, reunions de pa-dres para la confirmación y la primera communion también se han cancelado por ahora. Tanto la Confirmación del 3 de Abril como la Primera Comunión del 2 de Mayo han sido pospuestas, pronto como tengamos más información se los comunicaremos.
Los padres que estan preparando a sus hijos en casa para la Primera Comunión deben continuar trabajando con ellos.
Las entrevistas de Confirmación que ya se han programado para la semana del 22 al 29 de Marzo, ya que estas entrevis-tas son individuales, estás tendrán lugar en la oficina. Si pre-fiere no participar en este momento, por favor de avisar en la oficina parroquial. Cualquier candidato de Confirmación que tenga tareas para entregar debe traerlas a la entrevista.
