We manufacture the box elements and horse boxes in accordance with the FN directives (construction of equestrian facilities and stables). Delivery is carried out with our own lorries or by a freight forwarder. A forklift or tractor with frontloader must be available for unloading. If this is not possible, please notify us as soon as possible. The construction site must have truck access (24 t). Delivery time starts when the order is placed and all details have been clarified. As rule a delivery time is 4 – 6 weeks.

The standard box elements are 2.20 m high and are manufactured to the width dimen-sions that you require. The bar fields of the elements are 950 mm high and consist of 1/2" tubes that are joined via concealed welds in 50 mm bar spacing. In the Evando and Dorino front walls there is a feeding hatch in the wooden field.The frames of the box elements consist of square tube 50 x 50 x 3 mm and U-iron 50 x 40 x 4 mm. The topmost rail above the bar is closed. The wood fill consists of Douglas fir, 1,200 mm high, 38 mm thick with tongue and groove. For an additional charge bongossi wood or plastic can also be used. All components are hot-dipped galvanised.

Description of the front wall with sliding doorThe sliding door is 1,200 mm wide. The door is locked with a stop lock and integrated steel compression springs. The door is hung in a closed runner rail with two bearing-supported, twin steel track carriages. In addition all doors have a stop with rubber buffer.

Description of the front wall with hinge door1,200 m wide hinge door that is locked with a double-throw bolt. The hinge door is suspended by two, robust, two-dimensional hinges. Also available as horizontally divided hinge door.

WoodThe bottom U-rail has a 20 cm wide aperture. The wooden planks are slid into the frame. Finally the aperture is sealed with a cover plate. On request the wood is delivered with vent slots. Douglas fir and bongossi are natural products that are extremely stable. Animals that live in boxes bite, and often play, with the boards; this can cause damage. Moreover wood darkens over time. Deviations in the colour scheme, as well as colour and shape deviations are due to the material and do not constitute a deficiency in quality. Strength and the utility are not impaired by warping, shrinkage, darkening, or similar occurrences. Wood shrinks naturally, as it has a high moisture content at delivery. After a period of time the planks must be re-tensioned. Consequently we recommend that you purchase several more boards.

Front wall with integrated feed bar for rational provision of hay suitable for the species. Total height of the front wall 220 cm.

The feed bars are manufactured of round tube 48.3 mm Ø and therefore are particularly robust. The top and bottom of the front wall are elegantly fitted with 38 mm wooden planks. This significantly enhances the appearance of the stable facility. The length of the lower wood planks is approx. 44 cm, upper approx. 30 cm. Length of the feed bar tubes approx. 150 cm, This results in a clearance height of approx. 190 cm between floor and lower edge of the feed bar.

The door has a height of approx. 140 cm with a clear width of approx. 120 cm. The door is secured through a double-throw bolt and is easy to operate.

All steel parts are hot-dipped galvanised, hinges are robust and adjustable, doors can be attached either left or right.

Emulating the soft natural ground of a meadow, Box Plus rubber mat offers increased laying comfort and is even more appropri-ate for the musculo-skeletal system of the horse.

The softer Box Plus covering is two millimetres thicker than the BELMONDO Classic mat and is even better matched to the needs of the horse. The Box-Plus rubber mat has been designed exclu-sively for use in the box.

The result:Horses not only like to stand on the covering, they are even seduced into lying down. Simultaneously the premium mat prevents slipping when standing up and this practically excludes the possibility of ankle joint or fetlock joint injury. The BELMONDO® Classic has a grooved profile; the underside of the Box Plus has a special saucer profile. The “saucers” 50 millimetres in size, enclose air cushions and this ensures optimal insulation against cold. Like the Classic mat the Box Plus is also easy to lay out. In addition it is characterised by its water impermeability and its easy handling. Due to manufacturing reasons, t olerances in the material thickness of +2 mm / -1 m can occur.

BELMONDO® Classic is pleasantly elastic and offers sure-footing, this uniformly protects hoof, tendons and joints. The rubber covering insulates against cold and is imperme-able to water. Therefore, with good management the horses stand with the hooves dry and are not exposed to aggressive horse urine. BELMONDO® Classic is very hygienic – and can be easily cleaned.

Regupol stable mats are suitable as floor covering in boxes, wash boxes, washing areas, free stall barns or horse pens with concrete base, inclines and drainage. They have naps on their underside. Therefore, you get outstanding drainage characteristics – they are impermeable to water and urine. In boxes up to 70 % of the bedding quantity can be saved. Regupol stable panels are easy to clean. At occasional intervals thorough cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner is necessary. The mats are laid out on concrete or asphalt, with a slope of one to two percent in the direction of the drain. No. 4003 Growi rubber mat type D 20

The comfortable 20 mm thick rubber mats made of vulcanised new rubber have been developed in collaboration with horse breeders and veterinarians specially for horse boxes.

Both the edging, as well as the puzzle connections of the D20 stable mats consist of the full material thickness, so that penetration of bedding or fouling under the rubber mats is prevented. The stable mats are laid without dowels and screws, as the puzzle connections are precision fitted.

The naps on the underside of the stable mats provide a warming air cushion in winter; the slightly higher naps in the middle area of the rubber mats prevent trough formation in longer use.

No. 4001 Growi – rubber mat type M10

The medium-hard, 10 mm thick stable mats with special grip surface of vulcanised new rubber are the ideal solution, particularly for stable aisle ways. In addition to the interesting price / performance ratio, the sure-footing and quiet walk and a high level of abrasion resistance, are the deciding advantages of these stable mats.

They are laid floating and do not need to be bolted.

The stable mats are laid “shuffle pattern” i. e. the next row of mats starts with the residual piece of the previous row. Thus the cuttings are reduced to a minimum and the system simultaneously produces the desired cross bond on its own.

No. 4004 Growi – rubber mat type L20

The robust, 20 mm thick stable mats of vulcanised new rubber are used in boxes that are subject to heavy stress. Heavy horses that are equipped with pins and caulks need rubber mats that are correspondingly robust as a substrate.

The L20 rubber mats are the same shape as the den D20 rubber mats, however, they have a harder rubber mixture and grip surface. Combined with the D20 and L20 a walking zone and a laying area can be seamlessly set up in the box or open stable.

Likewise the L20 rubber mats can be used as a stepless continuation from the box into the aisle ways.

The edging and the puzzle connection of the L20 stable mats consist of the full material thickness, so that penetration of bedding or fouling under the stable mats is prevented.

The stable mats are laid without anchors and screws, as the puzzle connections fit together.

The naps on the underside of the stable mats provide a warming air cushion in winter; the slightly higher naps in the middle area of the rubber mats prevent trough formation in longer use. Thanks to the excellent insulation of the stable, mats a lot of bedding and the associated work, including the corresponding costs, can be saved. Regupol interlocking pavers are water-impermeable and extremely resistant. They can even be driven over with agricultural machines. Extremely quiet, easy cleaning and long service life are additional advantages. The pavers are laid on a crushed-stone base with edging. In paddocks a riding surface is unnecessary, which makes this covering extremely economical.

Regupol elastic tiles, dimensions 1000 x 500 x 43/30 mm are mainly used as floor covering in free stall barns and horse pens with an open/permeable crushed-stone base. The panels are impermeable to water/urine. Therefore, up to 75 % of the usual bedding quantity can be saved. Regupol stable panels are easy to clean. At occasional intervals thorough cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner is necessary. Wash boxes and stable aisle ways are additional application areas. Where there is an injury hazard, or where agitated horses can kick out, Regupol elastic mats can also be mounted on the wall as impact protection. The tiles are installed loosely on a frost-resistant crushed-stone base with edging. A footing surface is not necessary. This makes the covering easy to clean and there is no need to change the riding surface.

Growi horse feeding grid

Feeding grids are used for single animals, as well as for group free-stall housing for feed distribution. Via a mobile feed table the feed can be distributed with minimum effort.

Growi – horse feeding grids are available in 4 different widths (2 – 5 m). Because the bars are bolted on by the customer, every intermediate width is possible. You can simply shorten the transverse tubes.

Two different feeding grid heights enable installation with and without feed table elevation. Easy mounting on vertical posts 102 mm (page 41) or on building walls.

Thread cutting is not necessary, no bolting, no welding – an Allen key is the only tool required to establish this robust and rigid connection.

Material: High-quality, galvanised tempered cast iron.

The high clamping force on the screws in conjunction with suitable steel tubes guarantees systems that are secure and can withstand loads. If the tube connectors are reused, a new set of screws should be used. All set screws must be tightened with a tightening torque of 40 Nm.

Many health problems, that we know today from the stalls, can be avoided or at least restricted, if we establish ground conditions that are similar to those of nature. Soft and robust lying surfaces that are easy to care for and are gladly sought by the animals for their lying times. The Suevia Thermo-Quell is a well-insulated watering unit that ensures a water supply to your animals even at extreme minus temperatures. Water is supplied via a frost-proof line installed in the ground. Via the float valve installed in the tank, the “ground-warm” water flows in. The watering point is sealed via a terminating ball that is pushed to the side by the animals as they are drinking. Constant water withdrawal by the animals causes a continuous replenishment of the water in the watering unit.

The Lister heating rods have been specially developed for use in watering basin SB800/91. In the various lengths they can be pushed into the watering basin or the water line, and therefore keep the basin, the valve, and depending on the length of the heating rod, also the water line, frost-free to approx. - 32 °C ambient temperature. The 60 cm or 100 cm long heating rods ensure, depending on the line installation, frost protection of the water line (up to 2.20 m) and the watering basin. The circulation pump station (CPS) with integrated heating element for 230 V power connection ensures uniform flow speed of the water within the watering system. Via the constant water movement you achieve a certain level of frost protection in the water line at temperatures that are slightly below freezing. The heating element in the stainless steel cartridge with thermostat simultaneously ensures tempering of the water. The heating rod switches on at approx. + 5 °C return temperature and switches off at approx. + 7 °C. • The optimal protection against wind and cold for free stall barns, horse stables and open stables. Also suitable for all passages, doors, gates, etc.

• The swing door foil is made of 3 mm thick, UV-stabilised plastic.

• The foil is crystal clear and through the rounded edges there is absolutely no risk of injury.

• The foil has a total width of 300 mm. The length is cut to size as requested by the customer. Cutting costs are charged based on effort.

Fastening system for swing door foil

With the Growi fastening system you can optimally fasten the swing door foil. The carrier rails, available in three different widths can be fastened over the door or in the passage “under the lintel”.

Each swing door strip is fastened between two sheet metal elements via screws. These strips can be hooked into the carrier rails as desired.

You can therefore decide on how much overlap the individual strips will have. For cleaning you take out the strips without much effort.

The newly designed Universal Carrier combines a classic manure carrier with a transport trailer. The carrier can be easily loaded and most importantly can be effortlessly manoeuvred and emptied.

The 4 wheels ensure effortless transport of the load to the destination point. The drawbar has an eye, so that the carrier can also be pulled by a towing vehicle.

The dumping mechanism works simply and quietly, so that the rear axle also folds in for the dumping process.

The water barrels are completely hot-dipped galvanised from inside and outside, therefore they are particularly robust, stable and long-lasting. In the galvanised water barrels, water remains relatively cool even in strong sunlight, which stimu-lates your animals to drink.

The water barrels are mounted on wooden skids so that you can set them up on any underground. The Growi water barrel trailers are convenient and practical and are delivered as a complete watering unit.

Panels with feeding grid The hay or silage can be fed in the stable aisle and thus is not distributed in the entire box.

Hay / silage is saved, because with the panel system, fouling of the hay or the silage is avoided. In conjunction with the externally attached feed trough (as is often still present in older buildings), the complete feeding – i. e. also mash and feed – can be executed from outside.

It is not necessary to open the door each time the feed is brought into the box. Very advanta-geous for large stabling facilities. The vertical tube connections consist of individual pieces and are each welded between the cross-braces. Thus, they guarantee a safe hold, optimal stability, and stability of the panel.

Growi riding arena mirrorThe Growi riding arena mirror is produced with a 6 mm MIROX-Safe mirror. The high-quality riding arena mirror is enclosed in a wooden frame and mounted with double isolation.

Convincing advantages:

1. The polypropylene layer on the rear of the mirror is applied in an industrial process. If there is a sudden break, the glass shards stay bonded on the plastic layer. This guarantees safety for horse and rider.

2. Growi arena mirrors are isolated with a HSK/XPS hard-foam core. In addition we use an isolated composite panel on the rear of the riding arena mirror.

3. The mirror consists of a float glass pane, a silver-based reflection layer and a doubled topcoat layer. Therefore, you have an optimal and clear mirror image in the reflection.

4. If the glass breaks due to an accident, the glass shards bond on the splinter-binding foil. Mirox-Safe satisfies the following safety standards: BSI 6206, EN 12600 and ANSI z 97.1
