Accomplishments with Increased SWU Fee � Doubled Annual Video Inspection of

Pipes – 2017 & 2018

� Repaired/replaced 164 pipes (3.1 miles) at a cost of $4.7 million total in 2017 and 2018.

� Pipe repair projects focused on repairing pipes in advance of the annual mill and overlay street program and

� Catching up on a three year backlog of surface sinkholes on citizen’s property.

• In the past 5 years, there have been 5 arterial roadway failures due to the collapse of corrugated metal pipes (CMP)

• 56% of the overall stormwater pipe network, a total of 101.5 miles, is CMP.
