Design & Technology Programme prepares a student to work out a design solution to an identified problem. A student records and communicates the thinking process, ideas and solutions in a design journal. In working on the coursework project, students apply: Creative Thinking Skills Knowledge of science & technology Tools and processes Elements of design

Food & Nutrition Develop students understanding on the relationship between nutrition and health Understand the concepts of food science Apply the concept of a balanced diet through meal planning

Visual Art Teaches students to communicate emotions, create and express their ideas through various media such as paper and canvas painting, drawing and illustrations, digital graphics and fashion design.

Principles of Accounts Develop students skills in numeracy, IT literacy, communication, presentation and interpretation Understand the accounting principles and procedures Developing attitudes of accuracy, orderliness and logical thoughts

Strong interest in the subject. A overall pass in Mathematics at the end of the year.

Pure Geography (3E students) Greater coverage of both physical and human Geography Double humanities: Added advantage for those students who are interested in going to JC Thus, must choose either History or Literature Elective Criteria: Attained a good pass for Geography Strong interest in Geography Teachers recommendation

How Parents can help. . . Discuss with your children their aspirations and advise them accordingly Encourage them to focus on the Sec 2 studies and aim for their preferred subject combination for Sec 3 Discuss with Form Teachers on childs progress regularly
