3M™ Copper Cable3M Copper Cable is available in types ranging from Cat. 3 to Cat. 7, making it easy to use in any application. It’s provided in various fire ratings. The construction of the 4-pair copper wire meets high-performance specifications and has length markings along the cable sheath, enabling you to keep track of your cable lengths. The cable is shipped in lengths of 500 m or 1000 m.

Connecting, repairing or extending fiber doesn’t have to be time-consuming or cost prohibitive. Precision connectors from 3M enable fast, field installations without the use of power tools. With limited training, your team can address connections quickly and efficiently.

3M™ Crimplok™+ Connectors and 3M™ No Polish Connectors are some of our most popular products, providing on-site terminations of singlemode and multimode fiber, as well as jacketed cable. The 3M™ Easy Cleaver comes packaged with select connectors. It performs 120 cleaves using a diamond-wire cleaving mechanism which requires virtually no maintenance. There are connector types that work with 250 µm fiber, 900 µm fiber and jacketed cable up to 3.0 mm.

Field-proven 3M™ Fibrlok™ splices are ideal for restoration and permanent splice applications. Their metallic splicing element and molded plastic body with cap enable fast splicing in the field. The 3M™ Fibrlok™ II Universal Optical Splice can splice any combination of 250 µm and 900 µm fiber.

Help ensure ultimate reliability and performance in your data center with the 3M™ Cabling System with MTP Connectors. With up to 144 ports in a 1RU and low dB loss options available, this solution provides fast, reliable installation in a modular format for very high density applications.

The 19" sub-rack patch panel has two variants that accommodate four or six pre-connected modules with a port density of up to 24 LC connections each. The rear side of each module has either one or two entry ports for 12-fiber MTP backplane cables.

3M™ Cable Assemblies with MTP Connectors are pre-terminated in a variety of lengths with multimode OM3, OM4 or singlemode OS2 fibers to suit the type of links used in data centers.
