An introduction to Your Study Plan Your Study Plan provides you with a step by step guide to your own personalised Study Plan with a breakdown of your course components to help you plan your study throughout your course.

You will receive your official start and end dates when you enroll into your course - these are calculated on the official length of time you are given to finish the course.

What your Study Plan will show

The generated Study Plan will allow you to:

• View the start and end dates of your course/s as well as the status of each unit in the course/s.

• Personalise your start and end dates to suit your schedule. (Note: you cannot extend your end date beyond your enrolled course end date.)

• Include assessments in your Study Plan – i.e. view the assessments and their statuses. (Note: this is optional, by ticking the ‘Show assessments’ tick box.)

Tips for using the Study Plan:

• Units that have been completed (as competent, credit transfer or RPL) will not be included in the timeline for the Study Plan.

• If you are doing a dual or double qualification, you can adjust your Study Plan to schedule to study your courses sequentially or in parallel.

• You can schedule in the time slots that you are you are going to be away or unavailable to undertake your study.

2. Pre-set options There are three pre-set study speed buttons giving you the following timeline options:

Inserting holidays and study breaks into your timeline

To include study breaks and holidays in your study plan:

1) Click the View and add away times button found under your list of courses.

2) A box with Click here to add a new away time will appear - click this box. You can start generating away times by inserting a name for your break and selecting ‘From’ and ‘To’ dates.

3) Keep adding the breaks you want to include in your Study Plan. 4) Click the Generate button once completed.

Dual qualification courses

A Study Plan can be generated for each course you are enrolled in.

When you are enrolled in a dual qualification with two courses, you can customise your study method, by either studying both courses at the same time (in parallel) or completing one course before starting the next sequential course.

Study Plan - Sequential To generate a sequential Study Plan, the start date of the second course must be set to the end date of the first course as shown in the screenshot below. This can be done using the date sliders or by typing in the dates.
