Instructional Sports Camp Kellenberg Memorial High School Instructional Sports Camps offer athletes the opportunity to receive personalized instruction from an experienced athletic staff. The primary goal of the camps is to develop fundamentals and to sharpen the skills of the athletes. Athletes are given the opportunity to display their talents in contests and game that are conducted during the camps. Cost of Kellenberg Sports Camps The cost of all Kellenberg instructional camps includes lunch and beverage, camp apparel or equipment, and insurance. Physical Each participant must have had a physical within one year of the start of the first day of summer camp. Registration for a camp is acknowledgement that your son/daughter has had a physical in the past year. Insurance All enrollment fees include accident insurance similar to the school accident insurance program. Payment APPLICATIONS WILL BE PROCESSED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. FULL PAYMENT IS DUE WITH THE APPLICATION. Theater Workshop Payment A deposit of $400.00 will be accepted to secure a Theater Workshop enrollment. Final payment will be due June 8, 2020. Payment information will be mailed upon enrollment in the workshop. Refunds Any refund requests prior to the start of a camp will result in a deduction of $75.00 processing fee. ArtStudents in Grades 6-12 9AM-1PM $275This camp focuses on pastels, charcoal, color pencil, and watercolor. Projects will include 3D shading, foundation drawing, still life rendering, and realistic animals.

BaseballBoys in Grades 6-10 9AM-1PM $315This camp focuses on pitching/catching, mechanics, in�eld/out�eld fundamentals, bunting, hitting techniques, base running skills, games, and evaluation sessions. Campers will need a glove and a baseball bat. Cleats are optional.

Boys LacrosseBoys in Grades 5-10 9AM-1PM $315This camp focuses on fundamental stickwork, dodging, face o� play, goalie play, the three easy steps to playing o�enseor defense, one-on-one, two-on-two, three-on-three, and daily games. No equipment will be provided. Campers willneed helmets, shoulder pads, sticks, arm pads, gloves,mouth pieces, sneakers, and molded cleats.

Creative WritingStudents in Grades 6-12 9AM-1PM $275This camp focuses on developing a creative process in the areas of daily journal writing, poetry exercises, short �ction writing, and creative non�ction.

DanceGirls in Grades 6-10 9AM-1PM $315This camp focuses on conditioning, dance/kick terminology, various kick techniques, rhythmic movement, speci�c dance steps, and pom technique and routines. Campers will need knee pads and dance shoes or sneakers.

Theater Workshop Students in Grades 6-12 9AM-3PM $325This camp focuses on improvisation, monologue study, stage design, speech skills, scene writing, dance, song study, lighting, and technical design. The workshop will culminate with a live production, open to parents, family, and friends.

Girls Soccer Girls in Grades 6-10 9AM-1PM $315This camp focuses on technical development, super-skills, small sided games, and possession of ball. Campers will need soccer cleats, sneakers, and shin guards.

Girls Volleyball Girls in Grades 6-10 9AM-1PM $315This camp focuses on serving, setting, passing, blocking, attacking, team concepts, and o�ensive and defensive skills. Campers will need sneakers. Knee pads are optional.Please note: This camp is conducted on indoor and outdoor courts.

Girls LacrosseGirls in Grades 6-10 9AM-1PM $315This camp focuses on fundamental stickwork, dodging, goalie play, daily games, arc work, game concepts, speed work, quickness, and fast break. No equipment will be provided. Campers will need sticks, eye wear, and mouth pieces.

Hiking Students in Grades 6-12 9AM-3PM $340This camp focuses on exploring various state and local parks, building endurance and ability, culminating in a 3-4 hour hike on Friday. Campers will need a water bottle and hiking sneakers or boots.

Mastering the College App Essay I Students in Grades 10-12 9AM-1PM $250This camp focuses on all aspects of the college entrance essay writing process, such as meeting deadlines and schedules, incorporating popular topics, approaching the narrative, and formulating an essay.

Robotics Students in Grades 6-11 9AM-1PM $275This camp focuses on learning how to design, build, code, and drive robots. At the end of the week, students will compete in teams against each other with the robot they make.

So�ball Girls in Grades 6-10 9AM-1PM $315This camp focuses on defensive skills, position speci�c training, hitting and bunting, baserunning, skill development, and pitcher development. Campers will need a glove and cleats. Bats are optional.
