The Smile Project: “El koffa 3lina”

A charity project that aims to help poor and needy people, and draw a smile their faces. Its actions will be done by

providing well-filled baskets of food and quality products, and it must be adapted to the number of members of each

family targeted (60 family). This project aims also to extend over all the months of the year – not just Ramadan.

This year, our project has some extra-activity. We want to help, not only the families, but also the homeless people.

We’ll have some after-FOTOR activities (spending time with them and sharing cookies and tea with them, so that they

don’t feel alone. In addition to all this, we have the SOHOR activity: providing the homeless people with decent

meals for Sohor.

Job Descriptions:

Business Development: being able to bring sponsors, or donators

Manage our facebook page “El koffa 3lina”

Physical presence and promotion of the project in the big shops and markets of our Region

Visits to the needy families and homeless people and distribution of the baskets

If possible: bring and drive a car.

Discover Algeria

A project about tourism and culture promotion in Algeria. The EPs that we will bring from abroad will get the

opportunity to travel all over the country while writing about their adventures on a national blog.

Discover Algeria guarantees a full life-changing experience, since it is entwined with human relations, as you will be

confronted with the kind-heartedness and mystery of Algerian people. But, in the same time, you will introduce our

country to our EPs.

Job Descriptions:

Incoming eXchange: do your best to attract, convince and bring EPs… to come to Algeria

Marketing: promote Discover Algeria on the network (matching groups and facebook page) and on the national

media; but also design posters, a banner, badges, etc.

Business Development: find sponsors and partners for our project (money or logistics)

Talent Management: tracking of all the members and EPs during the whole project

Summer Language School

Culture and language teaching project aiming to shorten the distance set by the linguistic barriers. It's a fresh and

revolutionary way of teaching and learning new languages. We are mixing summer and school in a flavor of

language by bringing natives language speakers (EPs), to teach local kids, enable cultural exchange and to raise

their motivation to learn about the other cultures.

Job Descriptions:

Promote our project, attract pupils and students and convince them to participate in it

Manage our facebook page

Look for sponsors and partners (for money and logistics)

Take in charge the external relations

Prepare emails for the selected and the rejected participants

Be the co-facilitator of the EP (assist them when during their sessions)

Be my Friend

BMF is a social project where the main purpose is to bring happiness and joy to the ones we tend to forget (orphans,

sick children, elderly people and handicapped) by organizing visits and outings with them, befriending them and

giving them the moral support they need. It consists on: visit orphanages, hospitals and elderly homes; participate in

the outings organized for orphans and elderly people; befriend one, or some of those people.

Job Descriptions:

Satisfy the needs of the project

Get the authorizations to visit the hospitals, the orphanages and elderly house

Attract, convince and bring EPs (at least 2)

Realize the project in perfect conditions.

Art Seasons: “Summer of Music”

Summer of Music is the 2nd round of Art Seasons, a project inspired out from the beauty of the four seasons of the

year. Each season is dedicated to an activity and carries its name: Spring of Photography, Summer of Music, etc.

Through our project, we want to expand the Algerian musical scene by offering music lessons and preparing with the

participants a concert as a closing ceremony.

Our intention is to bloom up each season with an activity. Everyone involved in this Project in and out of AIESEC will

have the chance to take training sessions to be empowered learning new skills and have fun.

Attract, convince and bring EPs from abroad to be trainers and deliver sessions and workshops about music

Find sponsors and partners to cover the financial and logistical needs

Contact and invite professional musicians.

Language Café Blida

It is a casual and practical way of learning and practicing the language of one's choice. Every table has a theme

(language & culture) and a leader (local or EP who has a perfect mastery of the language). The attendees get to

chat and have a casual drink with people they have just met. The project is divided in rounds. (But you may come

before the starting date and leave after the ending date).

Organize and facilitate the sessions for participants (in Ramadan, sessions will be after the Fotor)

Prepare interactive materials to be used during the sessions (slides, games, conversational role play...etc)

Language Café Médéa

Language Café Médéa is a project held by AIESEC Blida to give the chance to youth to practice the language of

their choice regularly. Each table will have participants to enjoy & communicate in one of these languages (English,

French, Spanish and Arabic) and each table will have a leader to guide the participants. We will also go on a weekly

basis to hospitals, retirement homes and orphanages to bring smiles to the people in need of love and care.

Teamsters who organize and facilitate the sessions for participants from Médéa.

External relations manager to cover all the logistical needs of the project

Dates: Starting June 11th, 2015 (3 times a week, two hours per session)

Place: Médéa (at the House of Culture)

We will do my best to make a good impact about AIESEC in Blida and Médéa in order to be

able to do other projects and events in our beautiful city. We will also do our best to bring as

many EPs as we can.

We expect that by the end of the project, AIESEC will be highly known here in our region and

we will get a lot of chances to send as many as we can of students from here on Exchange

Programs.
