REGIONAL SKILLS ADJUSTMENT STRATEGY (RSAS)Delivery of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)

on Thursday Island and in NPA is a project funded through the

Regional Skills Adjustment Strategy (RSAS). RSAS is a two-year

initiative targeting specific regions of Queensland facing economic

uncertainty, by supporting workers that are at risk of being

displaced from traditional industries, or retrenched as a result

of significant company closures. RSAS also provides proactive

support to employers in target sectors, to build workforce

resilience and address skills or labour shortages. RSAS supports

those individuals to gain the foundation, employability and

technical skills needed to transition to the jobs of the future.
