The website is the first of its kind in the country as well as in the region. Its mission is to enable Malaysians to discover the rich and diverse roots of our hometowns to learn about their history and to contribute to new developments that can enhance the quality of life in these hometowns. The website is a technology, data and service driven one with desktop and mobile app versions so that it will become the first choice for residents and visitors wanting

to follow the heritage and history; news on business, art and culture; and the latest happenings in the various hometowns through the social media. This website will also promote tourism in Malaysia.
