Starting on the Zimbabwean side of the Zambezi River, competitors run across the iconic Victoria Falls Bridge, stretching over a massive gorge, with the sights and sounds of the ‘Smoke that Thunders’ bellowing below you. Vic Falls is a National Park: where else in the world can you be supported by local wildlife, while the kilometres tick away as you move towards the finish line? Make sure you leave a little bit extra in your ‘tank’ for the sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, to celebrate your achievement with fellow runners. And don’t just come for the weekend, visit some of the greatest wildlife areas in the world: Hwange, Chobe, Lake Kariba houseboat.
