S E A G A R DE N C O T TAGE S The Sea Garden Cottages provide stunning self-catering waterfront accommodation at Old Grimsby.

Each property is beautifully appointed and furnished to an exacting standard with panoramic sea views and bespoke artwork. Features include heated solid oak wood flooring, WiFi broadband, satellite TV and a wood burning stove.

All cottages grant access to the island’s leisure facilities at the Sea Gardens and Island Spa, including tennis courts, indoor heated pools, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. Rental also includes entrance to the world famous Tresco Abbey Garden and golf at the Isles of Scilly Golf Club on St Mary’s.

Rental prices are per cottage per week and include linen, towels and solid fuel (where applicable).

Reservations One third of the total accommodation is payable to confirm any reservation. All deposits are non-refundable. Payment of the remaining balance is due eight weeks in advance of arrival.

Cancellation Cottages are only let on the understanding that in the event of cancellation, a charge amounting to the full tariff will be made for any accommodation not re-let over the reserved period. Every effort will be made to re-let accommodation on guests’ behalf.

Insurance We strongly recommend that all of our guests insure against holiday cancellation or delay. Tresco Estate can offer insurance for travel to the Isles of Scilly. Should guests want to use their own insurance provider, they should ensure their chosen policy covers all forms of travel delay, including weather.

Departure /Arrival Check-in and check-out times vary according to the cottage (typically 1pm in – 9.30am out and 4.30pm in – 12.30pm out). Guests will be advised accordingly when they book.

Children Tresco offers an idyllic environment for family holidays and we pride ourselves on catering to the needs of children, including cots, high chairs, children’s menus and DVDs. Should you have any specific requirements, please ask at the time of booking.

Dogs We regret that dogs are not permitted to stay on Tresco. They are welcome at Hell Bay Hotel on the neighbouring island of Bryher.

Smoking All Tresco Estate accommodation is non-smoking throughout.

Travel & Island Transfers Travel to the islands can be booked through Tresco Island Office (+44 (0)1720 422849) or direct with Isles of Scilly Travel (+44 (0)1736 334220 or www.islesofscilly-travel.co.uk).

Choose to self-cater in the fully-equipped kitchen in your cottage, or opt for Bed & Breakfast or Half Board accommodation, dining at The Ruin Beach Café.

Each cottage sleeps two people, with the option to sleep one or two children on a downstairs sofa bed.

The cottages enjoy stunning sea views from the bedroom and living accommodation, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen, WiFi broadband and satellite TV.


Nightly rate per person per night, based on two people sharing. Single occupancy charged at a 50% supplement. Children under 12 occupying an adult bed space are charged at the adult rate rate.
