We commit ourselves to explore and defi ne the depths of knowledge in Aotearoa, to enable us to re-enrich ourselves, to know who we are, to

equality of Māori intellectual tradition alongside the knowledge base of others. Thus, we can stand

Graduates will have a basic understanding and awareness of te reo that can be used amongst whānau, hapū, iwi and community as well as in employment. This programme provides a pathway to develop skills and knowledge to protect, maintain and enrich mātauranga taonga tuku iho for current and future generations.

This programme is intended for learners who have an intermediate-level understanding of, and ability in the use of, te reo.

INTAKE DETAILSTe Pōkaitahi Reo (Rumaki, Reo Rua) (Te Kaupae 3) is offered full time using three delivery methods: Kura Pō (Night Classes), Kura Awatea (Day Classes) and Kura Awatea (Flexible Hours). All methods comprises 18 tutorial weeks.

Tauira who choose to enrol in the programme part time must complete and meet all requirements of the programme by December 2018. In both cases, the first day of the tutorial week will include a Hui Timatanga (whakawhanaungatanga and orientation session.)
