Citation preview
Teach and Learn in Korea (TaLK) is a Korean government-
sponsored teaching and service-learning scholarship program that
enhances public English education in rural elementary schools.
TaLK about an opportunity!
The Korean peninsula is located in northeast Asia
and harbors fascinating history since 2,333 BC. The
southern state of the Korean peninsula, South Korea,
is renowned for its astonishing transformation into a
developed nation thanks to the country’s sizable
investment in the education of its youth.
TaLK is a scholarship program that strengthens
public English education in rural areas of Korea.
Over the past 3 years, approximately 2,000
individuals have been awarded the TaLK scholarship
for teaching practical English to primary school
students. In exchange for their service, the Korean
government grants various benefits, sponsored
cultural trips, and more.
TaLK is a fresh challenge for those who value
making a positive, meaningful impact on
international education while exploring the rich
culture of Korea.
